Jenny Mollen Shares Her Close Call With Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
Jenny Mollen has opened up about a strange encounter she had with Sean “Diddy” Combs when she was 19. As the music mogul faces serious criminal charges, Jenny shared how she was invited to hang out with him back then in an Instagram video, leaving many wondering what could have happened if she’d accepted his invitation.
Diddy, 54, was arrested on September 16 in a Manhattan hotel and is facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transporting individuals for prostitution. The indictment, which paints a disturbing picture of his alleged actions, includes references to so-called “freak offs” — wild, sexually exploitative parties he allegedly orchestrated.
In her video, Jenny, now 45, recalled a night in San Diego when she was approached by a man who said, “My boss wants to meet you.” At the time, she was dressed casually in a maroon button-up shirt, jeans, and loafers — “Not giving sex vibes,” she quipped.
The boss turned out to be Diddy, who invited her and her friends to a party in his room.
Jenny then posed a striking question to her followers: “Guys, would I have been in a freak off? That’s what I’m reading, it’s called a freak off. Would I have been captured in his room in my hideous maroon shirt? Would there be footage to this day of me in some sort of crazy exploitative freak off?”
The term “freak off” is central to the case against Diddy, with prosecutors alleging that these events were “elaborate and produced sex performances.” The indictment claims that the rapper used drugs, force, and coercion to manipulate victims into participating, often under the guise of a romantic relationship. His immense influence in the music industry was allegedly used as leverage, with victims threatened to be cut off from his financial support if they didn’t comply.
In her video, Jenny expressed relief that she didn’t go to the party, saying she is “glad I didn’t go.”
Mollen’s account is just one of many that have come to light as people reflect on their interactions with Diddy. Rapper 50 Cent, who has been outspoken about avoiding Diddy’s infamous parties, has also shared his discomfort around the mogul. In a July interview, he said, “I’ve been very vocal about not going to Puffy parties and doing s— like that. I’ve been staying out of that s— for years. It’s just an uncomfortable energy connected to it.”
The Power producer, who is reportedly producing a documentary about Diddy’s abuse case, also recounted a moment where Diddy invited him to go shopping, which he said he found “weird” and unsettling. “From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him,” he explained.
Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty, remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail twice. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison, with a minimum of 15 years for the three felony counts he’s charged with. He is scheduled to appear in court again in early October.
