Lana Del Rey Marries Jeremy Dufrene in a Private Outdoor Wedding
Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey has married her Louisiana alligator tour guide boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene in a private ceremony. The couple recited vows in a picturesque outdoor waterside location near Airboat Tours by Arthur Matherne, the company for which Dufrene conducts swamp tours. Del Rey looked resplendent in a classic white wedding dress while her husband looked dapper in a chic dark suit.
The two obtained a marriage license from Lafourche parish in Louisiana three days before the hush-hush nuptials.

While the singer-songwriter has been regularly posting pictures with the famous alligator tour guide on her social media accounts, her personal life has always remained a closely guarded secret. That’s perhaps the reason why her wedding has gone viral and broken the internet.
Del Rey (39) first sparked rumors of a romantic affair with Dufrene (49) in August when the two lovebirds were spotted holding hands at Reading Festival in Britain. The music festival is one of the biggest of its kind in the region and is known for celebrity sightings. So it was apparent that the singer-songwriter did not care about being seen in public with her then-rumored boyfriend.
But Del Rey and Dufrene have been acquaintances for a while and go back a long way. Pictures posted by the singer revealed that she attended one of Dufrene’s famous swamp tours back in 2019. She was spotted on another swamp tour in May earlier this year and then again in June when she visited a hidden gem by the name of Tic-Toc Cafe.
While the two clearly have known each other for longer than it seems, fans and even Dufrene’s ex-fiancee, Kelli Welsh have both expressed surprise over the whirlwind romance. Allegedly the singer-songwriter married the tour guide within just a month of dating him. The exact timeline of their courtship remains unknown.
Despite the shock, Welsh only had best wishes for the couple, adding that a “solid guy” like Dufrene deserved a partner like Del Rey. She went on to say that her ex-boyfriend “is deserving of this blessing” and that the couple looked like they were deeply in love with each other.
Del Rey is one of the most popular singers of her time, known for hits like Summertime Sadness.
