T.J. Holmes And Amy Robach Reveal They’re Officially Living Together
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have officially taken a big step in their relationship — they’re now living together! During the September 30 episode of their podcast Amy & T.J. titled Catching Up on a Few Things…, the couple gave fans an update on their “living situation” and revealed they’ve been cohabitating for the past few weeks.
T.J., 47, shared that he and Amy moved in together, thanks to an unexpected twist involving Amy’s 21-year-old daughter, Ava, from her previous marriage to Tim McIntosh. According to her, Ava’s apartment became overrun with cockroaches due to a neighbor’s hoarding issues. Despite trying everything to fix the situation, the bugs wouldn’t leave, and Ava and her roommate asked Amy for help.
In response, Amy opened her doors to her daughter. “I’ve just said, ‘Hey y’all, knock yourselves out. I’ll be at T.J.’s,’” she laughed. And just like that, she and T.J. found themselves living together full-time.
The couple, who live within walking distance of each other, have been bouncing between their apartments but now have officially settled into one place.
Amy also revealed that Ava is moving out this weekend, which means their living situation might extend longer than planned.
T.J. chimed in to say he’s enjoyed their new setup, especially given their hectic morning schedules. “I’ve enjoyed the time that we’ve had together. It’s been a little different but I’ve liked it … where we know where we’re going to end up every night instead of having a plan.” he shared.
While Amy jokingly called it a “trial run,” T.J. admitted he had been trying to find “something wrong” with the arrangement but couldn’t — aside from the apartment being “too cold” or “too hot.” Aside from that, he said, “We’ve been good.”
The couple’s relationship has been a whirlwind. It first made headlines in November 2022 when dating rumors sparked while both of them were still married — Amy to actor Andrew Shue, and T.J. to attorney Marilee Fiebig. Although they were put on hiatus from their positions at GMA3: What You Need to Know and faced significant media scrutiny, the pair denied any overlap between their romance and their former marriages. A source told PEOPLE that their relationship didn’t begin until after their respective separations.
Since then, they’ve hit several relationship milestones, including launching their podcast and making their red carpet debut as a couple. Now, with cohabitation under their belts, it seems their journey together continues to grow stronger.
