Love Is Blind stars Amber and Matt Barnett have some exciting news — they’re expecting their first baby! The couple, who fell in love on the first season of the Netflix hit dating show, recently announced Amber’s pregnancy while chatting with their fellow Love Is Blind friends, Lauren and Cameron Hamilton, on the first episode of The Love Seat podcast.
Amber, 32, gave a life update, sharing how she’s been making big changes in her life before the surprise pregnancy news. “I sent myself back to school because I felt like we were in a place where I could do that, like, I had the support and I was mentally there,” she explained. Then, she pointed to her husband and said, “Then, over summer break, he just went and knocked me up.”
The fun didn’t stop there, as the couple joked with their friends about how it all went down. Amber hinted that their baby might have been conceived during Cameron’s birthday party. “Little baby B might come out ready to throw down with us,” she teased, making everyone laugh.
Lauren cheered for the couple, excitedly saying, “There’s a baby Barnett on the way!” She couldn’t hold back her joy, adding, “The biggest congratulations to you guys. I’m so excited.” Cameron joined in, saying he’s “ready to be an uncle.”
To commemorate the big news, Amber and Matt shared a sweet video montage on Instagram. The video took fans on a trip down memory lane, starting with clips from their wedding on Love Is Blind and ending with the couple posing together, proudly cradling Amber’s growing baby bump.
