Channing Tatum And Zoë Kravitz Have Ended Their Engagement After Three Years Together, Source Says
Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have officially called it quits. After three years of dating, the former couple decided to end their engagement just last weekend, sources confirmed to PEOPLE on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
According to an insider, the breakup came down to the two stars growing apart. “They haven’t been on the same page and grew apart,” the source revealed.
Despite their split, Channing, 44, and Zoe, 35, have kept quiet about the breakup, with reps for both declining to comment. The two were last seen together earlier this month, attending a play starring Channing’s Blink Twice co-star Levon Hawke in New York City’s Red Hook neighborhood on Oct. 6.
Just two months ago, Zoe, who directed Blink Twice, expressed how much the couple shared a deep connection through their work. At the film’s August premiere, she told PEOPLE, “Art is our love language.” She spoke about how they loved creating and supporting each other artistically, hinting at future collaborations that now seem uncertain.
In recent weeks, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Zoe was seen without her engagement ring, most notably during an outing with her Big Little Lies co-star Shailene Woodley. The absence of her ring added fuel to the breakup rumors, which have now been confirmed.
While neither Channing nor Zoe nor has posted anything on social media since the news broke, a heartfelt Instagram post from the actor in early September is a reminder of their bond during the filming of Blink Twice.
The Magic Mike star shared a shirtless selfie with Zoe resting her head on his lap, writing in the caption about how proud he was of her dedication to the film.
“This little sweet. She so tired bro… Always on the dig for truth. She pour’d every single ounce of her into this film,” he wrote, adding, “I’m so proud to stand ten toes down for her, this film, and everyone in it… Me and you back to back against it all. I’ll never blink.”
Neither star has spoken out about their split publicly yet, leaving fans to wonder how the two will move forward after three years of what seemed like a strong relationship.
