Michael Jackson’s Daughter Paris Jackson And Music Producer Justin Long Are Engaged
Love is in the air for Paris Jackson and her boyfriend, Justin Long! The singer, who is the only daughter of the legendary Michael Jackson, announced her engagement early on December 6, in a heartfelt Instagram post celebrating Justin’s birthday.
In a series of photos shared with her followers, Paris revealed the magical moment Justin, affectionately called “Blue,” got down on one knee. The proposal took place in a gilded room, with Justin holding a small box and Paris looking radiant.
“Happy birthday, my sweet Blue,” Paris, 26, captioned the post, adding, “doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and i couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. thank you for letting me be yours. i love you.”
Paris also gave fans a closer look at the special moment on her Instagram Stories, sharing snapshots of Justin slipping a sparkling ring on her finger and the emotional embrace that followed.
The couple’s love story began in 2022, and their bond has only grown stronger. Justin, a music producer and engineer, has been a quiet but steady presence in Paris’ life. The carousel post included a collection of sweet memories, from photo booth kisses to quirky costume moments, with the engagement photo as the grand finale.
For the proposal, Paris sported a casual yet stylish look with denim shorts, a sweater, sheer tights, and knee-high boots, while Justin chose a crisp white shirt and black pants.
While Justin hasn’t shared much about their relationship on social media, he previously posted about working with Paris on her 2023 Bottlerock Napa Valley performance, showing his admiration for her musical talent.
This new chapter comes after Paris’ journey of self-discovery and heartbreak. The singer previously dated Gabriel Glenn for over two years, a relationship that deeply influenced her music. Speaking to Willow Smith on Red Table Talk in 2021, Paris shared how the intense betrayal she experienced shaped her artistry.
Revealing that heartbreak inspired a lot of her music, she shared, “It was the deepest I ever loved someone, it was the most intense I’ve felt so far and the most intense betrayal I felt so far and experienced. It’s definitely closed me off to that, I’m very careful with who I spend time with now and very guarded and trying to protect myself.”
Paris has also been candid about her fluid sexuality, opening up about her dating experiences. In the Facebook Watch series Unfiltered: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn, she revealed, “I thought I’d end up marrying a chick. I’ve dated more women than men…I say I’m gay because I guess I am, but I wouldn’t consider myself bisexual because I’ve dated more than just men and women, I’ve dated a man that had a vagina.”
While Paris once told Willow that marriage was not my focus at the time, it’s clear that finding love with Justin has changed her tune.
