“Young And The Restless” Star Conner Floyd Proposes Lo Longtime Love Carly Frei
Love is in the air — and in the snow! The Young and the Restless star Conner Floyd is officially engaged to his longtime girlfriend, esthetician and skincare expert Carly Frei. The actor, 32, popped the big question on December 21 in Carly’s hometown of Boston, creating a picture-perfect winter proposal.
Conner, who joined the iconic soap opera in 2021 as Chance Chancellor, planned the romantic moment in Boston Commons, surrounded by a scenic snowy backdrop. “Thank God it snowed, too!” he joked.
Despite the freezing 25-degree weather, Carly braved the chill as Conner led her through the park to the special spot where he got down on one knee.
“The Boston Commons was covered with snow and the perfect venue for the proposal. It was a struggle to get her to walk through the park in 25-degree weather, but we made it happen,” Conner shared.
After she said yes, the couple celebrated with their families and close friends at an intimate party. Conner made sure Carly’s family, along with his own parents and sister (who flew in from Austin, Texas), were all there to share in the joyous moment.
Reflecting on the day, Conner said, “Carly is the love of my life. She means the world to me, and I really wanted to make this special for her.”
One heartwarming photo from the proposal shows Carly lovingly placing her hand on Conner’s face, showing off her stunning pear-cut diamond ring with a split gold band.
The celebration didn’t end there. Conner and Carly shared the happy news with their fans on Instagram, receiving an outpouring of love from The Young and the Restless co-stars. Michael Mealor commented, “Woo!! Congratulations!!” while Mark Grossman added, “Congrats you two!!”
The couple’s love story began on Valentine’s Day a few years ago, and they made their relationship Instagram-official in 2020. Since then, they’ve been inseparable.
“Carly is my best girl,” Conner gushed, adding, “She’s my best friend, and I’d literally do anything for her.”
