Eminem just earned a brand-new title — Grandpa! His daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, and her husband Evan McClintock welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock, on April 4, 2025. And yes, that middle name is a special nod to Grandpa himself, as Eminem’s real name is Marshall Mathers.

To share the big news, Hailie posted the sweetest photo on Instagram of baby Elliot in a tiny light blue hoodie, sitting in front of a sign with his full name and birthdate: “Elliot Marshall McClintock 03.14.25.” Fans and friends lit up the internet with love, but one message in particular stood out.

“Congratulations,” wrote 50 Cent, Eminem’s longtime friend and collaborator, in a post on X. He added, “This is the best WOW,” along with a screenshot of Hailie’s announcement.

While baby Elliot is already winning hearts online, the moment that really got everyone emotional was the reveal to Eminem himself. In a home video shared by Hailie, she gave her dad a sonogram picture along with a tiny blue football jersey that said “Grandpa” and the number 1 on it. His jaw dropped. His eyes filled with tears. And just like that, Slim Shady became Grandpa Shady.

In the last episode of her Just a Little Shady podcast before giving birth, Hailie shared her mix of nerves and excitement. “It’s so weird to think about… I can’t even wrap my head around it,” she said. “I have to meet this human that I’ve created. What’s he gonna look like? What’s his personality gonna be?” She even joked that baby Elliot was her “dream podcast guest.”

As Hailie enters this brand-new chapter, fans are also hoping Eminem steps into a new one too. Back in December 2024, he told Whoo’s House on SiriusXM’s Shade 45 that he’s totally open to doing a full album with 50 Cent. “That would be great. We just gotta stop bullsh—ing and just do it,” he stated.
