Johnny Depp’s Ex-Wife Shares Her Feelings On Johnny’s Legal Battle With Amber Heard
Lori Allison, Johnny Depp’s first wife, has spoken out against Amber Heard in the wake of the defamation trial. Lori, who married Johnny in 1983 and divorced him two years later, has remained close to him over the years. In a recent interview with the Popcorned Planet podcast, the makeup artist expressed her horror at the accusations made by Amber against Johnny.
“I’m no angel, I’ve done my share of s****y things to people, but what she did was absolutely horrific,” said Lori. “If there were things that I could do to her that were legal I would do them! I would.”
Lori’s comments follows Johnny’s successful defamation suit against Amber, which saw her ordered to pay him $15 million in damages. The suit was brought after Amber accused the Pirates Of The Carribean actor of domestic violence in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed.
The accusations led to Johnny being blacklisted by much of Hollywood, resulting in a loss of film roles. However, after the defamation suit, he regained Hollywood’s attention.
In the interview, Lori revealed that she had met Amber before and that initially, she seemed nice. However, as time went on, Lori heard things about her ex’s new wife that made her question her character.
“I had met her before, I’d been to parties at his house and she seemed really nice and she was gorgeous and what’s not to love? But as the time went by and I would hear things about her – she who shall not be named – he didn’t seem too happy all the time. I didn’t see him a lot so I cant really say,” she stated.
Lori went on to address how she felt about the revelations at court. “The things that affected me more were the things he said in court – I probably broke down several times because I felt really bad for him. He’s very private – which is why I don’t do interviews – and I think for him to come out so wholeheartedly was what he really needed to do,” she said.
She also had kind words for her ex-husband, admitting that she still loves him and that he has a big heart. She said she was excited to see him again and give him a hug.
The interview is just the latest in a long string of controversies surrounding Johnny and Amber’s tumultuous relationship. While the pair have now settled their legal battle, the drama and very publicized wounds will take a long time to heal.
