Kanye West Storms Out Of Son’s Soccer Game After Heated Argument With Parent
Social media is not the only place where Kanye West seems to be agitated—the rapper and fashion designer seems to be picking fights off the internet as well.
The rapper seems quite animated in a video of the latest fiasco obtained by TMZ. The incident happened on the sideline of a school soccer game where Kanye came to support his son Saint.
The rapper got into a heated argument with another parent while his ex-wife Kim Kardashian sat on a lawn chair 30 feet away, flanked by security.
The subject of their discussion is unknown; however, after their argument, another woman who seemed to be a family friend approached West. The woman said something, after which the rapper stormed off.
Witnesses have reported that Kanye returned a few minutes later and was in a much better state of mind. He seemed to have cooled off and watched the remaining game incident-free.
The video confirms that the ex-couple are not on talking terms. Kanye has four kids, North (9), Saint (6), Chicago (4), and Psalm (3), with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Kim stayed out of the picture, unfazed by the events unfolding very close to her. It is reported that Kim did not interact with her ex at all.
The reality star filed for divorce from her rapper husband in February 2021 and sought joint custody of their four kids.
Also, this is not the first time Kanye has stirred controversy on school grounds. Just a few weeks ago, Kanye attended his daughter North’s basketball game, donning a “white lives matter” T-shirt. The act led to outrage among many, and Kanye or Ye, as he likes to call himself now, was heavily criticized.
The rapper has recently received a lot of backlash for his anti-Semitic remarks. After posting screenshots of his conversation with Russell Simmons, the rapper’s Instagram account was suspended for 30 days. In the messages, Ye made disparaging remarks about Jewish people.
After being suspended, the fashion designer took to Twitter after nearly two years. In his tweet, Ye said, “Got kicked off Instagram for 30 days for telling Russel Simmons that I was going to make “you know who” have better contracts and business practices. Jesus is king.”
Weeks ago, the rapper doubled his anti-Semitic threads during his interview with Piers Morgan. When asked if he regretted his tweet where he wanted to go “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE”, the designer replied with an “absolutely not.”
The interviewer slammed the rapper, saying he should regret it, and explained that anti-Semitism and racism were the same, although it did not affect the smug rapper.
In the wake of the events, the designer lost a lot of partnerships. Brands like Adidas, GAP, and Balenciaga have dropped him as a business partner. He is no longer on the Forbes Billionaire list and took to social media to claim, “I lost 2 billion dollars in one day.”
Ye’s talent agency CAA, and law firm, too, seem to be washing their hands off the rapper after his anti-Semitic comments.
