Survivors Of The 1994 Killing Refute Kim Kardashian’s Spotify Podcast
Survivors of the 1994 triple murder, that is the current subject of Kim Kardashian’s Spotify true-crime podcast, have spoken out that the details that the reality star is sharing are not entirely accurate.
The brother and sister duo mentioned that Kim never spoke to them or, at the very least, contacted them to ensure that her facts were indeed accurate because the man Kim is advocating for is guilty.
It can be recalled that 58-year-old Kevin Keith was convicted of killing Marichell Chatman, his ex-girlfriend, Marchae, Marichell’s 4-year-old daughter, and Linda Chatman, Marichell’s aunt, last 1994 in their Bucyrus,Ohio home. He was sentenced to prison and has been serving for the last 28 years, but Kevin insists he is innocent.
And apparently, Kim believes Kevin’s truth, so she used his story to launch her newest Spotify podcast, The System. And it appears that anything Kim does turns out to be controversial because two of the survivors are now sharing their truth and side of the story. These two people, Quanita and Quentin Reeves, both survived the deadly shooting and were eyewitnesses of what happened.
According to these two cousins of Marichell, Kevin is guilty.
During the killings, they were only six and four years old, but their recollection of events was clear. Today, the siblings are already in their thirties, and they were utterly dumbfounded by the October 3 podcast. Kim never reached out to them or invited them as guests, knowing they were key players in discovering the truth.
Quentin, now a father to two, aired his sentiments that if Kim wants to be involved, the best thing for her would be to come to meet him and his sister. The Reeves siblings were both shot in their stomachs during that time, and they are both clear who the killer is, and it is no other than Kevin.
Both knew and recognized him because their father was friends with him, and they remembered him pointing the gun and shooting their relatives. Quentin stood his ground and stated that seeing what happened with their eyes was not something they’d forget. He also said that he didn’t care what Kim said in her podcast but the truth, and the only truth is that Kevin was the killer. According to him, whatever Kim is doing is intended to improve her image.
His sister, Quanita, agreed and shared her sentiments that resurrecting this case entails them being the first people to be contacted. While their family has to live with the loss, tragedy, and trauma, their relatives’ killer is becoming a celebrity.
She further stated that the first time she heard from Kim’s team was last October 3, the same day the podcast was aired and that the heads-up was from Lori Rothschild Ansari, the show’s producer. Until now, Kim’s side has not responded to any comments, although contradicting news indicated that the podcast team did contact the Reeves siblings.
