Tom Brady Seen Without Wedding Ring
Amidst rumors that Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen may be splitting up after 14 years of marriage, the NFL star was spotted and his wedding ring was nowhere to be seen.
Last Friday, the quarterback went to a wedding of his friend and owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft. It is said that Gisele has developed a friendship with Kraft over the years as well, but she did not appear at the wedding, and neither did Brady’s wedding ring.
It has been speculated for months that Brady and his wife may be separating, and sources close to the couple say that they have even hired divorce attorneys. Rumors of the couple’s split have been going around since February, when Tom Brady announced that he would be returning to the Bucs for another season, instead of retiring which was his original plan.
Allegedly, this decision has sparked a lot of tension in the couple. Gisele has openly spoken about how she worries that his career is damaging the dynamic of their family. In an interview with Elle Magazine, she said that she would like Tom to be “more present” for their children. Their family has three children, Benjamin, age 12, Vivian, age 9, and John, who Brady has from a prior relationship, who is 15.
She even said that she and Brady have had numerous conversations about this topic, and how long he’ll spend on the field rather than with his family, but that he’s chosen to “follow his joy.” Not long after Gisele’s interview, the football superstar took a break for 11 days to work on “personal issues.”
It is unclear whether this break was directly related to his marriage, but he told reporters, “there’s a lot of sh*t going on, so you just have to try to figure out life the best you can.” Around a month later, a source told People Magazine that the couple had been living separately for weeks.
Fans are happy about Brady’s return to the NFL, but it is safe to say that wife Gisele is not. His three children showed their support at his first game of the season, with Brady’s mother accompanying them instead of Gisele. Neither of the famous couple have given any insight on the fragile details of their marriage, despite sources saying they have not lived together for over a month.
Some reports have said that it’s unlikely the couple will formally separate, but now more than ever, it looks like that may be proven untrue. On October 4, Gisele was seen out with her children, but not with her wedding ring. A source told Page Six, “I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
Page Six also reported that construction on the couple’s new mansion in Miami has been put on hold. Allegedly, Gisele is the one “steering the divorce.”
