Unstoppable Nick Cannon’s Growing Brood
Nick Cannon is all set to enjoy and maximize fatherhood as sources confirmed that the host is expecting his 11th child and possibly a 12th to complete his one dozen kids goal.
Nick confirmed that he would become a father again after his baby mama, Alyssa Scott, shared last Thursday that he is the father of her child. This baby is Nick’s possibly twelfth child.
Additionally, Nick confirmed the news with shots of him and 29-year-old Alyssa from a mature maternity photoshoot. Mom-to-be Alyssa was standing naked above Nick in a bathtub.
Another photo released from the photo shoot was in classic black and white, with Nick kissing Alyssa’s growing bump. In the recent maternity photoshoot, Nick was seen lovingly looking up at the mother of his child. The rapper also appeared to be stark naked, with his tattoos on full display.
Aside from this baby, Nick is also set to become a father again as he awaits the arrival of his possible twins with his former girlfriend, Abby De La Rosa. Earlier this June, the 31-year-old Abby posted on her social media that she was pregnant and left her followers hanging with the possibility of her having another set of twins.
If this happens, Nick’s current children count will be twelve. Nick and Abby have twins named Zion and Zillion, who are 15 months old.
Recall that Nick and Alyssa also had a son, but the little one died last December 2021. The little one did not make it past his sixth month and had an aggressive brain cancer. The pair named their angel Zen. The little one had a rough start because he also suffered from hydrocephalus and was eventually diagnosed with a malignant head tumor.
Zen underwent successful surgery, but soon after, around Thanksgiving, his health started to deteriorate, and he ultimately earned his wings on the fifth of December.
Alyssa knew their son didn’t have much time on earth, but she shared on her social media account how grateful she was for having Zen and knowing that her little one was surrounded by people who loved him.
And fast track to today, it appears that there’s no stopping Nick from expanding his modern family, and surprisingly, the mothers of his children seem to be accepting of their set-up.
Last September, Nick welcomed his 10th baby, a son with Britanny Bell, who they named Rise Messiah Cannon, and nine days before that, he also became a father to his 9th child Onyx Ice, a daughter with LaNisha Cole. Brittany is also the mother of Nick’s two other children.
His other children include his 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey and Legendary Love, his 8th child with Bre Tiesi.
Today, Nick’s fatherhood portfolio includes 11 children, possibly a dozen if Abby is confirmed to be pregnant with twins, and six different baby mamas.
Nick expects public backlash because of his non-conventional way of expanding his family. Still, his only request was for the criticisms to be directed to him and not to the mothers of his children.
The rapper also made a social media request not to shame or ridicule the women who carried and bore children.
Among his relationships, his marriage with Mariah Carey was the most publicized. And when the diva was asked about the many babies of her ex-husband, she commented that she doesn’t keep tabs on the babies and mommies because there were too many.
However, she did mention that she was happy for her ex-husband, who doesn’t believe in monogamy and wishes him all the best.
