A Sneak Peak Inside Kourtney Kardashian-Barker’s Baby Shower
With Kourtney Kardashian-Barker’s due date approaching, her mom Kris threw a lavish Mickey Mouse-themed baby shower for her daughter, their family, and friends at Kourtney’s Los Angeles mansion last Sunday.
Her 47-year-old husband, Travis, also shared some photos of the gathering despite sharing that he tested positive for COVID just a few days before the scheduled baby shower. One of the pictures he uploaded was a photo of his 44-year-old reality star wife posing in front of the enormous flag sign that read Baby Barker.
Recall that Kourtney had a medical scare earlier this month after undergoing an emergency fetal surgery to save the child in her womb. During that time, Travis, who was currently on tour with his band, Blink-182, had to rush home to be with his wife. The incident caused the band to make adjustments to their schedules.
In the picture, Kourtney was wearing a snakeskin-printed catsuit with her baby bump in full view with a pair of Mickey Mouse ears. The mom-to-be was radiant and all smiles throughout the event.
The party was in full blast, and the expectant mother looked to be in good spirits despite facing a possible investigation after the mayor of Malibu accused her of lying. She allegedly rented a home in the city for a baby shower but instead used it as a venue for an influencers’ party for her company, Poosh.
Kourtney’s famous sisters also took to their Instagram accounts to share clips and photos of the extravagant party, complete with cute decorations. Kim recorded the pretty entranceway lined with greeters all dressed in red and white barbershop quartet ensembles while holding balloons.
During the party, Kris, the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, took on hosting duties and welcomed guests at the door as they arrived. The 67-year-old momager wore silk pajamas and a pair of her own Mickey Mouse ears. Apparently, she threw the party for her daughter to uplift Kourtney’s spirits during her difficult pregnancy.
Kourtney’s spacious backyard was adorned with grass rugs shaped like Mickey and a bar serving freshly made snacks. Her patio was lined with faux apple trees as a reference to Snow White, although hers was labeled “Wishing Tree” and guests could leave notes for the expecting parents by pinning notes to the tree.
Her other sister, Khloe, also posted an Instagram Story to share the treats and refreshments served during the baby shower. There were tiny corked bottles with wellness shots that read “Alice’s Green Juice,” Mickey Mouse pancakes, and French toast for brunch.
The impressive cake with a custom “Baby Barker” design made of baby bottles topped with Mickey Mouse driving a boat was also a sight to behold. Underneath the cake were champagne bottles with signages that read, “It’s a small world after all.”
Recall that Kourtney and Travis tied the knot last May 2022 in Italy. Both have three children, each from their previous relationships. Kourtney is expected to give birth between October and December this year.
