Adele Hints At Future Tour Plans Amid Vegas Residency
For those who dream of experiencing Adele’s soulful performances live but can’t make it to Las Vegas, the British superstar has given hope for a future tour.
During her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on January 27, the Grammy-winning artist shared her desire to embark on a proper tour once her next album is released. Fan-recorded footage on social media captured Adele, 35, saying, “I just don’t think I’m gonna write an album for quite some time, but next time I do, I’ll come to wherever it is you live.”
Weekends with Adele commenced on November 18, 2022, and is currently scheduled to conclude on June 15, marking its 100th performance. Adele expressed her deep affection for the residency, stating, “I’m gonna miss this so much. I really, really do love this show.”
In October, the Rumour Has It singer announced the final dates of her Las Vegas run and expressed her gratitude to her fans. In a social media post, she said, “This residency, these shows have changed my life.” She went on to explain how reconnecting with live performances had a profound impact on her.
“I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have. I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have!” she wrote.
The superstar vocalist shared her delight in being close to her audience once more, describing the experience as “extraordinary” and “restorative.” She cherished the interactions and emotions shared with her fans and reflected on how performing live humanized her fears.
Adele concluded by affirming her love for being on stage and her belief that it is where she truly belongs. She acknowledged her talent and expressed her enjoyment of performing live.
Throughout her career, Adele has been open about her mixed feelings regarding touring. During her 2017 tour in support of her 25 album, she discussed her reluctance to tour in a social media post, citing her homebody nature and love for simple pleasures. However, she also acknowledged the thrill and pleasure of touring, especially the impact it had on her audience.
She emphasized that her tour was a gift to her fans and that her final shows in London were a way to bid farewell to touring, unsure if she would ever tour again.
