Amber Rose Says She Was “Canceled” For Supporting Trump But Doesn’t Care
Amber Rose isn’t afraid to stand her ground, no matter how much backlash she gets. The 41-year-old model revealed that she was “canceled” last year for supporting Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, but she doesn’t seem too bothered by it. “During the election, I was ‘canceled.’ Now? All the naysayers are quiet. They see he’s already changing our country for the better,” she said. Despite losing fans over her political stance, Amber pointed out that she still landed the cover of Maxim for February 2025.
In her cover story, Amber didn’t hold back on her thoughts about cancel culture and the current political climate. She criticized the left for shutting down differing opinions and stressed the need for more open discussions. “Unfortunately, the ‘woke’ left cancels people for having a different ideology,” she said. “Fortunately for me, I don’t give a f*** and will always stand 10 toes down until the wheels fall off, regardless of what my beliefs may be.”
Amber also reflected on how her political views have shifted over the years. She admitted that she once leaned left but now sees things differently. “I used to be on the left and thought I was doing the right thing. That’s why it’s so important to have open conversations,” she explained.
She believes too many people focus on emotions instead of facts, saying that there is
“no objective truth,” “only feelings.”
Her outspoken political stance isn’t new. Last July, Amber took the stage at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where she openly praised Donald Trump and his policies. She told millions of Americans watching: “Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay, or straight. It’s all love. These are my people. This is where I belong.” The speech marked a turning point for her, as she officially distanced herself from her previous political views.
The model is also exploring new opportunities beyond entertainment. She teased an upcoming show focused on politics and current events but kept the details under wraps. When asked if she was considering a career in politics herself, Amber didn’t rule it out. “Maybe. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m definitely in love with it,” she said.
Even as one of Hollywood’s most vocal Trump supporters, Amber doesn’t regret standing up for what she believes in. She knows her stance isn’t popular in the entertainment industry, but that hasn’t stopped her from speaking her mind.
