Amber Rose Says She’s “Happy” About Ex Alexander ‘AE’ Edward’s New Relationship With Cher
Amber Rose, the model and mother, recently shared her perspective on co-parenting during an interview on The Jason Lee Podcast. Despite her ex Alexander “AE” Edwards dating the iconic Cher, Rose, 40, expressed no resentment, emphasizing the importance of stability for their son, Slash, 4.
“I’m very happy that he’s with Cher because it creates stability for when [our] son goes over there,” Amber shared with Jason Lee on this week’s episode of his podcast, highlighting her commitment to maintaining a positive environment for their child.
Acknowledging the media attention surrounding Alexander and Cher’s relationship, Amber emphasized the need for a calm and stable environment for Slash when he spends time with his father and the pop icon.
Alexander and Cher’s relationship sparked headlines due to their significant age gap, but Amber remains focused on prioritizing her son’s well-being amidst the attention.
The part where Slash gets to spend time with Cher at her house stuck with Jason, who asked, “He goes to Chers house? So you’re definitely not the mom that’s like ‘You’re not going over there.’”
In response, Amber stated, “Absolutely not, why would I do that? Let’s be very clear — why would I ever be mad at her? I don’t want him.”
“Somebody gotta tolerate him and it ain’t gonna be me, right? So I’m very happy that he’s over there with her because it’s stability for my son,” she added.
According to Amber, “The only thing that I ask is that you’re present is that you’re a present father, you help with me get him through private school… I don’t care who you are f–king, I’m not that type of baby momma.”
Amber and Alexander parted ways in 2021 after three years together, with Amber publicly addressing concerns of infidelity. Despite their past, Amber maintains a dedicated focus on co-parenting alongside her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, with whom she shares another son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, 11.
In a previous interview, Amber candidly shared her disillusionment with dating and relationships, expressing a desire for independence and solitude.
Sharing her feelings about men, she said, “It’s worse than ever. They’re pretty disgusting out here. They’re f—ing gross. Like, I wanna be single for the rest of my life.”
“I don’t want to share my house or my life with anyone. I don’t want anyone around my kids. I don’t want to have sex … It’s so gross. I don’t want it,” she added.
