Amy Schumer Calls Hilaria Baldwin A Sociopath For Pretending To Be Someone From Spain

Amy Schumer has her eyes and fangs set against Hilaria Baldwin in Emergency Contact, her newest Netflix special. She holds nothing back, unleashing her perception of the American yoga instructor and her infamous claim of having Spanish heritage.
This is not the first time that Amy has trolled 29-year-old Hilaria. The main reason why Amy is out for blood is that the latter apparently lied about her Spanish heritage for so many years. The American comedian is also fueled by Hilaria’s husband, Alec Baldwin, who fatally killed Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer of his movie Rust.
Aside from these, Amy is also keen on calling out Hilaria for the number of her kids with her husband, which she calls Hilaria’s von Trapp number of children.
Amy claimed that when she first met Hilaria a few years ago backstage on SNL, the Yoga Vida co-founder told her that she was from España, and she did so with a very thick Spanish accent.
Further explaining, Amy also mentioned that “they have a von Trapp amount of children, and they named them all – I’m not sure, but very Spanish names like Jamón, Croqueta, and Flamenco.”
Tp Amy, all of these people of Spanish descent are fine, and the names they gave their children are beautiful, except that “Hilaria from España” is Hillary from Boston, USA.
Amy firmly believes that Hilaria is in no way Spanish because her parents were not from Spain and that no one in the mother-of-seven’s life has a direct link to Spain.
With her grounds, Amy questioned, “What?!” Did you think I was making a really racist Spanish impression?”
She ranted, “So, I’m not trying to bully a sociopath. I have a point, OK?”
Amy speculated that the case was that Hilaria visited Spain, and that’s it. Because all evidence indicates that Hilaria is from the US, specifically from Boston. But ever since meeting Alec, she has started pretending she is from Spain.
The Snatched actress further highlighted that the pretense started after meeting Alec, who shot someone.
This tirade from Amy comes after Alec and Halyna’s son settled. Recall that the cinematographer died when Alex shot her with one of the props on the set, a .45 pistol loaded with a live round. This happened while the movie was being filmed in October 2021.
Alec was consistent in his statement that he never pulled the trigger and pointed out that it shouldn’t have had any ammunition in the first place. He was charged with manslaughter, but this was eventually dropped.
After all the family challenges that Alec and Hilaria experienced, the latter eventually clarified that she was born in Boston’s Beacon Hill district. Still, her parents moved to Spain in 2011. She also admitted to her and her family’s deep roots in the US.
Hilaria even went as far as blaming Hola! Magazine and to her agency, CAA, for mistakenly referring to her as “Spanish” in a New York Times interview last month.
The Mom Brain podcaster explained, “Home is where my parents will be. If my parents move to China, I am going to go to China and say, “I’m going home.”‘
