Angela White Reflects On Past Relationships And Co-Parenting Amid Media Scrutiny
In an exclusive interview on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast, Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, opened up about her past relationships, tumultuous moments in the public eye, and her journey towards healthier co-parenting with her exes.
Reflecting on her split from rapper Tyga in 2014, Angela shed light on the challenges she faced during that period. She emphasized that their relationship had naturally run its course and ended as Tyga started getting close to Kylie Jenner, who was just 16 at the time. Angela, engaged at the time, saw this as the turning point that led to their separation.
When questioned about how she discovered Tyga’s relationship with Kylie, she candidly replied, “I feel like the same way everybody else did, the Internet.”
Angela shared a particularly poignant moment when Tyga’s friends packed up her belongings and removed her from their shared home. It was a challenging time, and this incident marked the end of their relationship, according to her. Notably, Tyga and Kylie didn’t officially confirm their relationship until the following year, in mid-2015.
Speaking about her decision to discuss these past events now, Angela stated, “I never used to talk about these things, but I’m like, you know what? I think I’m kinda done with that, and people need to hear my side. It’s been years. I didn’t come out and be a bitter baby mama, you know what I mean? I feel like time has passed.”
During that reportedly turbulent period, Angela had a close friendship with Kylie’s older sister, Kim Kardashian, according to her. “Me and Kim, we were really good friends. I was on her show and all this stuff like that. We lived in the same community. And then her little sister started talking to Tyga, which was really crazy because she was underage, and then everybody came at me and started attacking me,” she recalled.
Despite the challenges she faced, Angela expressed her willingness to move forward and emphasized that she is now in a “great place” with the Kardashian-Jenner family.
Transitioning to a more positive chapter in her life, Angela reminisced about her whirlwind romance with Rob Kardashian, which began after her split from Tyga. She revealed that Rob initially reached out to her via direct message, leading to a deeper connection. Their love story resulted in the birth of their daughter, Dream, who is now 6 years old.
However, their relationship eventually faced legal battles, including a lawsuit where Angela sued Kim, Kylie, Kris Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian for intentional interference with her E! reality series, Rob & Chyna. This legal dispute arose after Rob posted explicit photos of Angela on Instagram and made accusations against her. While the suit eventually cleared Kim and found the Kardashian-Jenner family not guilty, Angela’s legal team argued that she had lost out on potential earnings due to the cancellation of the show.
Despite the legal battles, Angela expressed her amicable co-parenting relationships with her two exes, Rob and Tyga, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. She emphasized that her focus remains on the well-being and happiness of her children, King and Dream.
