Ariana Madix Opens Up About The Lack Of Intimacy In Her Relationship With Ex Tom Sandoval
In a candid and revealing interview with Glamour, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, known for her involvement in what was dubbed the ‘Scandoval’ controversy, shared her experience of feeling deprived of intimacy in her relationship with former partner Tom Sandoval. Speaking to Glamour, the 37-year-old star opened up about craving a deeper connection beyond mere physical intimacy and how she never got it for a long time.
“And that was something that I was deprived of for so long. As women, we might bring something up a bunch of times and then we just stop,” she stated.
The actress expressed her frustration at repeatedly asking Sandoval to spend time with her, stating, “I was like I cannot keep nagging this man to want to come home and spend time with me.”
Ariana also criticized men who believed they were entitled to a woman’s body and sexual fulfillment solely based on their relationship status. “I am not [your sex toy],” she asserted. “I spelled out what I needed, but hello. It’s a two-person situation.”
The latest season 10 reunion episode of Vanderpump Rules brought more drama when Tom made a remark about his sex life with Ariana that left both their co-stars and fans shocked. Host Andy Cohen inquired if he had been involved with anyone else since his affair with co-star Raquel Leviss began, leading to the end of his long-term relationship with Ariana. Tom claimed there was no one else, but Ariana disagreed, revealing, “You know who he did sleep with after he and Raquel started sleeping together? Me.”
Tom responded with a comment considered disrespectful, stating, “Yeah, she kept her T-shirt on. It was really hot.” Ariana reacted with disgust, labeling her ex’s behavior as repulsive. She later posted a photo on Instagram playfully mocking the situation, featuring a tee with the slogan ‘f*** me in this T-shirt.’
Fellow cast member Lala Kent didn’t hold back in calling Sandoval out, saying, “You’re such a fing d!” Even Sandoval’s close friend Tom Schwartz expressed his disapproval, urging him not to make such remarks. Sandoval eventually apologized, saying, “I’m sorry.”
However, the damage was already done. Outraged fans took to social media to express their disappointment over Sandoval’s comment. One user wrote, “She should’ve put the T-shirt over your head so she wouldn’t have to look at you.” Another added, “I cannot believe Tom just f***ing said that. What a disgusting pig.”
