Beauty TikToker Mikayla Nogueira Marries Fiancé Cody Hawken
The couple got engaged almost two years ago, in November 2021, and finally tied the knot on July 1. The influencer looked nothing short of a princess as she showed off her gorgeous wedding gown online.
Mikayla, 25, wore a gorgeous white sleeveless bridal ball gown that had a tulle skirt and a daring neckline. She paired her dress with a cathedral-length veil that had floral accents.
For her reception, she changed into another beautiful white wedding dress. This one was a long-sleeved lace bridal gown with less volume, allowing the influencer to enjoy her first dance and the reception. The groom, Cody, 25, too, kept up with the white theme by wearing a white tux.
Mikala posted a TikTok video at their wedding showing her husband and herself and wrote, “We did it.” The ceremony was held on Saturday in Newport, Rhode Island.
The wedding was lavish, and the TikToker invited celebrity friends that included Johnny Ross, James Charles, Dylan Mulvaney, Kelly Rose Sarno, Chris Olsen, and Patrick Starrr.
The wedding was nothing short of a royal event, and the bride was quick to share pictures of her big day with her fans through social media. Even before the wedding, Mikayla shared a TikTok video of herself getting ready for her big day. In the video, famous makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic and hairstylist Chris Appleton were seen doing the bride’s makeup and hair.
The reality TV star first introduced Cody to her fans in 2021 and has been documenting their relationship ever since. Keeping up with tradition, she also shared details of the proposal.
In her TikTok video, Mikala shared that Cody proposed to her on the 20th of November. She let her fans know that Cody planned a surprise trip of three days and told her to pack her suitcase just the night before. He also asked the internet star to dress well and gave her no additional details.
He took her to a hotel in Boston that held sentimental value for them as a couple. She explained, “It was the first hotel we stayed at our first date in Boston. He gets us the most expensive room in the hotel and it looked like an apartment. There were white roses on the table he gifted me and a fruit tray. It was very romantic.”
He also recreated their first date in the park by taking her to the same spot at Boston Commons. Continuing the story, Mikala said, “We sat on the same bench that we sat at during that first day and I couldn’t believe he remembered the bench. He gave me this beautiful speech. It was so sweet he is an angel.”
Next, Cody got to his knees and popped the big question. As Mikala said yes, photographers jumped out of the trees and captured the beautiful moment. The couple then did a 2-hour photoshoot and solidified their memories for a lifetime.
Before her wedding, Mikala released a limited-edition lip kit, for which she teamed up with Elf Cosmetics. The lip kit is called the Marriage Material Lip Duo.
