Bella Hadid is 10 Months Sober as She Makes Her Social Media Comeback
Supermodel Bella Hadid recently shared through her Instagram account that she has been sober for 10 months. The 26-year-old American model said that she is doing exceptionally well and is proud of herself.
Her post read, “I’m so proud of anyone pushing through dry July. With Kin and lots of self-love, I am almost ten months no alcohol!”
Bella and Jen Batchelor are the co-founders of Kin Euphorics. According to their website, it is “a non-alcoholic, functional beverage, designed using ingredients that nourish mind and body. Adaptogens to help you manage stress, nootropics to support brain cognition, and spirit-centering Botanics to elevate the taste. Carefully layering these energy-transforming ingredients help tune your mood and activate the power, energy, and peace already in you.”
And to make true to her post, Bella accompanied it with a picture of herself buying Kin at a Sprouts grocery store and adding the caption, “I’m so proud of anyone discovering their sobriety Or anyone who has had the courage to open their mind to Dry July!”
This year has been pretty eventful for Bella, and it has not been all sunshine for her. In July, she and her beau of two years, Marc Kalman, called it quits. Bella then had to take medical leave as she continued her battle with Lyme disease.
Later in April, she shared that it had been six months since she last had a drink. During one of her interviews with InStyle, Bella confessed that she was starting to lose herself after a night of heavy drinking. She also mentioned to the publication that she already had her fair share.
She also admitted that she loves alcohol and maybe too much because there were nights when she’d need to cancel as she felt like she couldn’t control herself.
Bella explained that she would not drink because she knew just how it would affect her in the early morning hours, and then she would wake up with horrible anxiety.
Regarding her dating life, Bella and Marc decided to go their separate ways after their love ran its course. There were no third parties involved or anything that caused them to become bitter with each other. According to the two, their romance just ran its natural course, and last spring was the perfect time to let each other go. The pair split amicably with no hard feelings for each other.
Their love story started in 2020, and friends of the ex-couple revealed that the two were serious and were both excited about where their relationship was taking them. Bella’s family, including her mother, Yolanda, and her older sister, Gigi, who also made headlines last week for getting arrested in the Cayman Islands for possessing marijuana, all accepted and loved Marc.
Despite being both public figures, the two managed to keep their relationship private, and this was one of the aspects that Bella believed made their romance stronger.
