Beyoncé Brings Blue Ivy To The Renaissance And Surprises The Crowd With Daughter’s Performance
The crowd attending Beyoncé’s Renaissance in London was surprised when Beyoncé’s eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, appeared on stage and performed with her mother.
The audience went wild as they witnessed the 41-year-old Crazy In Love hitmaker performing with her equally talented 11-year-old daughter. The crowd in Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium got more than they bargained for, given that Blue Ivy also performed to Kendrick Lamar’s Alright hit aside from dancing alongside her proud mother.
And Beyoncé was not the only person taking it all in. Her husband and Blue’s father, rapper Jay-Z was among the crowd supporting his wife and daughter. Pride was etched on his face, while the crowd savored and loved every minute of the mother-and-daughter performance.
Jay-Z watched with momager Kris Jenner and artist Dua Lipa, who traveled to the UK to watch Queen B.
Blue wore a red jumpsuit that matched her mother’s outfit during the performance. The surprise performance comes after the Grammy-winning artist declared how proud she was of her daughter during her Instagram tribute last Monday. This was after another of Blue’s live performances with Beyoncé during the Renaissance’s Paris stop.
Queen B delighted her fans last Friday when she brought Ivy and performed two songs—Black Parade and My Power while Blue joined the other professional dancers to do the choreography. The influential singer, who shares Blue and 5-year-old twins Rumi and Sir with Jay-Z shared clips and images of the special night with her followers.
Beyoncé captioned the post with the sweet message, “My beautiful firstborn. I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”
During one of Beyoncé’s interviews with Vogue, the Partition hitmaker couldn’t help but gush while talking about Blue. She described her daughter as very smart and explained, “When I tell her I’m proud of her, she tells me that she’s proud of me and that I’m doing a good job.”
She further shared, “It’s too much sweetness. She melts my heart. I believe the best way to teach them is to be an example.”
Beyoncé’s concert is impressive, with her complete set list comprising 40 songs. She has and will kick off all her concerts with a live rendition of Dangerously In Love, Flaws and All, and 1+1 and then close it with her hit tracks Blow and Summer Renaissance.
Her Renaissance world tour began in Stockholm, Sweden, earlier this month, and every concert proves Beyoncé’s worth as an artist and performer. The 41-date world tour is speculated to gain more revenue than Taylor Swift’s equally successful Eras Tour.
It is estimated that by the end of the tour, Beyoncé will have an additional $2.2 billion in her bank account, primarily based on the higher number of concertgoers and the more expensive ticket prices.
Reports show that the average ticket price for Renaissance is $700, with VIP packages ranging from $3,757 to a whopping $5,000.
