Billie Eilish Spotted Outside For The First Time Since Court Granted Her Restraining Order Against A Half-Naked Intruder
Billie Eilish was spotted outside on February 28, a few days after TMZ reported that the court had granted her a restraining order against a strange man who had invaded her home.
For her recent outdoor outing, MailOnline reports that the singer was returning from her workout session at a gym in Los Angeles alongside her personal trainer. The Bad Guy hitmaker, who has previously revealed her fear of being alone, successfully obtained a restraining order against a stranger who invaded her $2.3 million horse ranch home in Glendale, California.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the 21-year-old caught a man — Andrew Black — staring through her living room window when she turned on the lights. The pop star said she had to review her home security footage from earlier in the day only to find the invader taking off his clothes and showering with her outdoor shower.
The report also noted that Billie found old footage of Black loitering around her property last year while it was under construction, and the same man has shown up at her parents’ home looking for her.
After reviewing her plea, the judge granted her order stating that it was based on “a credible threat of violence or stalking.” The order also refrains Black from visiting Billie’s parents’ home for any reason.
It’s not the first time the young singer has gotten a restraining order against an intruder. Earlier in February, the Lovely singer appeared virtually in court for a hearing, where a judge granted her a 5-year restraining order against a 39-year-old man Christopher Anderson. The temporary order came after her father claimed he had broken into their family home, professing his love for Billie.
However, the Grammy-winning singer insisted that she has never met Christopher, stating that she has “viewed images of this individual and can confirm” she has “no idea who he is.” The singer added that she has “no prior relationship or communication with him.”
The Happy Than Ever hitmaker has pointed out that strangers’ repeated invasion of her home and property has affected the “peace, tranquility, and security” at her childhood home.
During a 2019 Rolling Stone interview following the online leak of her home address, she told the publication, “I completely don’t feel safe in my house anymore, which sucks. I love my house.”
Explaining her fears of being alone to The Irish Times in 2021, she revealed that she doesn’t “like to be alone” because of the number of stalkers she constantly deals with. “I have people that want to do bad things to me, and I also am freaked out by the dark and, like, what’s under beds and couches.”
