Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Bitter Legal Feud About Their Winery Reaches a Mutual Decision

Possibly among the top ten ugliest and most bitter divorces in the history of Hollywood, the ex-power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gone through several showdowns and bombshell revelations, giving the public an inside view of their divorce proceedings. 

But the settlement is finally progressing, with the future moving towards calmer seas.

The former couple began their relationship in 2005 and then got married in 2014. But only two years later, in 2016, their marriage had come to an end. The start of their legal battles began as they fought over various things, from the custody of their children right up to the winery they both owned.

And finally, this week, their legal drama took a U-turn as the ex-couple finally seemed to have agreed on what to do about their vineyard. The two have been in and out of court because the 48-year-old Tomb Raider star decided to sell her share in 2021, a property they purchased in 2018 during their happier times.

According to Brad, Angelina sold her share behind his back, and he believes that the actress was deliberately trying to harm their business. In response, Angelina and her team filed a countersuit of $350 million, claiming that Brad acted like a petulant child and accused him of looting the business and using it as his cashbox.

The relationship between Brad and Angelina seems to have started and is now ending in controversy. Their affair also did not really begin under the best circumstances. The two first met in 2014 when filming for the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and back then, Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

Rumors about Brad cheating on Jen with Angelina gripped Hollywood, and the couple divorced. Not long after, Brad’s romance with Angelina began making news, although he was consistent back then in stating that he never cheated on the F.R.I.E.N.D.S star.

It was the ultimate love triangle with three of Hollywood’s biggest names, and it was unfolding very much in the public eye. Angelina later admitted that she and Brad did fall in love while creating their spy thriller movie.

Brad and Angelina got a nearly decade-long happily ever after. Back then, Jennifer admitted in one of her interviews with Vanity Fair, “I would be a robot if I said I didn’t feel moments of anger, hurt, or embarrassment. I don’t know what happened. There’s a lot I don’t understand, a lot I don’t know, and probably never will know.” 

Putting behind the controversial romance, Brad and Angelina defied the odds. They became Hollywood’s most iconic couple until the explosive, which is said to be triggered by Brad’s booze problems. The infamous private flight incident of Brad attacking Angelina and their children while aboard their flight is known to us all.

During the flight, Brad physically hurt his wife and some of their children, making Angelina and the kids feel like hostages. He was also verbally abusive, but after their divorce, Brad joined Alcoholics Anonymous. It was reported that since then, he has completely stopped drinking.
