Britney Spears Consents to Ex-Husband Kevin Federline Moving Their Children to Hawaii

Kevin Federline, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, recently revealed his plans to relocate to Hawaii with his current Victoria Prince. And he planned to take his two minor children, Sean and Jayden, whom he shares with Britney.
Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, announced this move via a letter to TMZ and asked Britney whether she would give her permission. Britney’s attorney Matthew Rosengart replied to the letter and confirmed that Britney consented to this move.
Kevin has sole custody of their two sons, 17-year-old Sean Preston and 16-year-old Jayden James. They are based in Los Angeles and live with Kevin’s wife, Victoria Prince. The then-back-up dancer for Britney wants the move to happen this coming August.
Mark informed TMZ that Kevin plans to move his family on August 1 and will work on accommodations. His wife, Victoria, has an existing job offer at one of Hawaii’s local universities but has yet to accept the opportunity.
According to People, Mark has stated, “It’s an opportunity for Kevin and his wife, and the boys are ready to get away from the L.A. microscope.”
Another source further said, “Britney has always faithfully supported her children and wants them to be happy.”
The lawyer further explained that there should be no concerns about Sean and Jayden moving in with their father given that Kevin has 100% legal custody and 100% de facto physical custody of the boys. Mark also revealed that Britney has not seen the children for over a year now.
Britney’s children moving to Hawaii is another challenge for the “Hit Me Baby One More Time” hitmaker after news of her marriage with husband Sam Asghari being in trouble made waves. It was reported that the two had had several screaming matches as well as some physical altercations.
And with Sean and Jayden moving hundreds of miles from Britney, this would surely be another heartache for the singer. The singer admitted how broken her heart is that her sons didn’t attend her wedding and that their mother-son relationship is strained.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Britney’s son Jayden discussed his and his brother’s complicated relationship with their mother.
“It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. […] When she gets better I really want to see her again,” he said, and further addressed his mother, “I love you a lot, I hope for the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit down like this and talk again.”
An insider mentioned that one of the primary reasons for the family’s move to Hawaii is Victoria’s job offer, and Kevin believes he can always get a job as a DJ. Additionally, a new life in Hawaii can give the two boys a more private life away from the hustle and bustle of LA.
Concerning the boys’ education, Sean would have already graduated by August while Jayden can take his classes remotely.
