Britney Spears Gets A New Tattoo; Instantly Regrets It: “Really Sucks”
On a recent trip to Hawaii, Britney Spears impulsively decided to get some new ink — a love heart — and regretted it almost immediately.
This is not the first time that the American singer has had a tattoo; she has been under the needle about ten times to date. But the 41-year-old Grammy winner honestly shared on Instagram that she was not happy with her new body artwork.
While vacationing in Maui, Hawaii, Britney was in her hotel room when she documented her new ink and captioned the video as, “Tattoo in Maui 3 days ago.” But instead of gushing about the new tattoo, she further stated on her post, “Can’t show it because it sucks [three laughing emojis]! Like really sucks! Sh**! Psss… I have to fix it.”
In the video, it is evident on Britney’s face that there was a lot of initial excitement. The mother-of-two was seen dancing around the room while wearing a floral pink and white crop top paired with low-rise shorts. Britney was seen gleefully exclaiming, “Tattoo time!”
The singer then changed quickly, this time wearing a yellow top with a low neckline, and was standing still as her tattoo artist engraved a small black heart on her right arm.
Britney was then caught on camera grimacing in pain but still managed to say, “very cool” for her followers.
Aside from this new heart ink, Britney sports nine other tattoos, including a dice on her left forearm, lips on her right forearm, a triangle on her right hand, and a fairy on her lower back.
She also has a Kabbalah Hebrew tattoo on the back of her neck, a Chinese tattoo on her bikini line, and a cross tattoo on her lower lip.
It is not certain if the new heart tattoo was the one that triggered Britney to reminisce about her past, but earlier in the day, Britney was feeling nostalgic. She took to her Instagram account to post some throwback photos of her and her ex-beau, Justin Timberlake. She dated the N’Sync member from 1999 to 2002.
This nostalgic moment happened a few days after Britney suffered a manic episode in Los Angeles last Saturday. Britney shared a slideshow of photos with her ex-boyfriend, who has been married to model and actress Jessica Biel for a decade. The images were memories of the two attending a basketball game in 2001.
Britney captioned the photos with, “When we used to shoot hoops TOGETHER … that’s when miracles happened.” This post has since been removed from her account.
It’s unclear what her husband, Sam Asghari, thought of these photos. Asghari has defended the actress on her explosive behavior during the weekend.
Sam wrote on his Instagram story, “Don’t believe what you read online, people,” after Britney allegedly started talking gibberish at the Joey Restaurant in Woodland Hills when fans began taking pictures of her.
However, Britney’s other half explained that his wife was frustrated because the fans took their picture while they were having a private dinner. He said, “People get a little too excited to see my wife, so everybody is filming, doing their thing. But you know how it is, fame comes with the territory, and I went to get the car to get the hell out of there, and people just thought I’d left, but that didn’t happen. So, it is what it is, man.”
