Cardi B Responds To Offset’s Cheating Accusations: “I’m Cardi B, I’m Not Just Anybody!”
In a recent Twitter Space conversation, Cardi B, the popular rapper known for hits like “Up” and “Bodak Yellow,” addressed allegations made by her husband, Offset, regarding infidelity. The Migos member had taken to Instagram to claim that Cardi had cheated on him. However, Cardi quickly set the record straight and didn’t hold back.
“First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of,” Cardi confidently expressed, channeling the lyrics of Keyshia Cole’s I Should Have Cheated. She continued, “And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!”
Advising her listeners not to pay attention to Offset’s claims, the mom of two said, “That motherf—er spiraling and thinking s—.” She then asserted her own status, saying, “Come on, y’all. I’m f—ing Cardi B, n—. I think sometimes motherf—ers forget I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this p—- to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody.”
Explaining her cautious approach to relationships, Cardi shared, “Can’t f— no regular degular shmegular ’cause they gonna tell the world. And I can’t f— nobody in the industry ’cause they gonna tell too.”
Directly addressing Offset, she said, “Please boy, stop acting stupid. Stop acting stupid. Going crazy over a f—ing Space. Don’t play with me. What the f—. Stop playing. That’s all I’m gonna motherf—ing say.”
Expressing her frustration, Cardi exclaimed, “Get the f— out of here, n—-. Like, you can’t be serious. Don’t play, motherf—er. Got me looking f—ing crazy and s— for no reason. Anyways, I’m out. Y’all know what it is.”
This is not the first time Cardi B and Offset have faced cheating allegations. Back in January 2018, just two months after their engagement, the Migos member found himself in the midst of a scandal when videos emerged showing him in bed with multiple women. While the rapper chose not to address the allegations in his Rolling Stone interview, he emphasized that it was his “real life” and not a game.
Cardi, on her end, took a more direct approach on Twitter. She acknowledged that cheating was not right but questioned her options, asking, “Go f— me another n—-? Start all over again and get cheated on again?” She emphasized that everyone faces such issues in relationships, and people handle them differently.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the Bodak Yellow star further discussed her perspective on her then-fiancé’s alleged infidelity. She asserted her independence, stating, “I’m not your property. This is my life… I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision.” She also acknowledged that she wasn’t perfect either, saying, “It’s not right, what he f—ing did — but people don’t know what I did ’cause I ain’t no angel.”
Despite the challenges they faced, Cardi and Offset tied the knot in September 2017.
