Diddy Sues NBC Over Documentary That Accuses Him Of Horrific Crimes

Sean “Diddy” Combs is taking legal action against NBC and Peacock after they aired Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, a documentary that dives into his music career, personal life, and the disturbing allegations against him. The 54-year-old music mogul, who is already facing serious federal charges, claims the documentary spreads false and damaging accusations, including conspiracy theories about murder and sexual misconduct.
In a lawsuit filed in New York State Supreme Court, Diddy argues that the documentary recklessly portrays him as a serial killer. The film features interviews with his accusers and former associates, including singer Al B. Sure!, who hints at the possibility that Diddy’s ex, Kim Porter, was murdered. Kim, the mother of three of Diddy’s children, passed away in 2018 from pneumonia.
Diddy also takes aim at Courtney Burgess, who appears in the documentary claiming to have video evidence of the rapper sexually assaulting intoxicated celebrities and minors. In his lawsuit, Diddy insists that Courtney has never even met him and that NBC aired these accusations despite knowing there was no proof.
His attorney, Erica Wolff, slammed the documentary, calling it “a malicious attempt to spread outrageous lies.” She claims the network was simply chasing headlines, saying, “Defendants accuse Mr. Combs of horrible crimes, including serial murder and sexual assault of minors – knowing that there is no evidence to support them.”
This isn’t the first time Diddy has fought back. In January, he sued Burgess and his attorney, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, for defamation.
Despite his legal battles, Diddy is currently facing serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. He has pleaded not guilty. Meanwhile, multiple accusers have also filed lawsuits against him for sexual misconduct, allegations that he strongly denies.
