DND: Cardi B Sends A Powerful Message Amidst Cheating Accusations
In a recent Twitter post, Cardi B has made it clear that she’s unavailable for drama. Last week, her husband Offset accused her of cheating, a claim which she strongly denied. Addressing the situation, Cardi B, known for hits like Bodak Yellow and Money took to Twitter on Thursday night to share a powerful message with her fans – and haters.
Using the acronym “DND,” which stands for “do not disturb,” the 30-year-old conveyed her intention of taking a break from the ongoing drama. It seems that she is determined to focus on herself and tune out the noise.
“DND TYPE OF SUMMER,” she wrote.
This resonated with many of her fans, who expressed their agreement with her decision. One fan wrote, “Right, I’m taking a break from people this summer.” Others speculated whether this tweet hinted at new music to come, with one person suggesting it could be the title of her next single.
The tweet comes amidst a public dispute between Cardi and Offset. It all started when Offset posted an Instagram Story, which he later deleted, claiming that the I Like It hitmaker had cheated on him. In response, Cardi began a Twitter Space conversation where she sang part of the first verse of Keyshia Cole’s song I Should Have Cheated.
“First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!” she stated.
Her message was clear – she won’t accept false accusations without defending herself.
During the conversation, Cardi addressed Offset directly, advising her fans not to pay attention to his claims. She stated that he was spiraling and thinking irrationally. “Listen, don’t pay attention to that country man,” she said of the Migos rapper.
Making her point loud and clear, she reminded everyone of her status as the powerful and respected artist Cardi B, emphasizing that she wouldn’t give herself to just anybody.
“Come on, y’all. I’m f—ing Cardi B n—. I think sometimes motherf—ers forget I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this p—- to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody,” she declared.
With strong words, Cardi told Offset to stop acting stupid and playing games, stating that she has no time for unnecessary drama and wants to focus on her own success.
