Dolly Parton Returns To Vegas For December Residency
Las Vegas is about to sparkle a whole lot brighter because Dolly Parton is coming back, and she’s bringing rhinestones, hits, and Southern sass with her.
The iconic country star, 79, just announced her long-awaited return to the Las Vegas stage with a limited residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this December. It’s been 32 years since Dolly last did an extended run in Vegas, and now, she’s ready to shine again.
“To say I’m excited would be an understatement,” Dolly shared. “I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows at The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there!”
She also posted on Instagram with her signature sparkle: “Grab your rhinestones, Vegas is calling! ✨”
Titled Dolly: Live in Las Vegas, the six-show residency will kick off on December 4 and continue on the 6th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and 13th. The dates align with the National Finals Rodeo, making December in Vegas an extra country-fueled celebration.
Fans can expect a night of classics – think “9 to 5,” “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “Coat of Many Colors” all delivered with Dolly’s signature warmth and wit.
But this isn’t just a concert; it’s an experience. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. PT, and some VIP packages are just as dazzling as Dolly herself.
The Dolly Forever VIP Package includes access to a pre-show reception in the Rhinestone Lounge, an exclusive gift set, and early shopping access for tour merch.
And for superfans who want a memory of a lifetime? The Star of the Show VIP Experience adds a professional photo with Dolly and a backstage tour of the performance space.
Dolly’s history with Vegas goes back to the early 1980s, when she performed at the Riviera Hotel, followed by shows at the Mirage in 1993, both of which have since closed. She’s always had a fondness for the city, even joking to The Tennessean in 2022 about trying not to spend all her time ordering room service between shows. “It’s a magical city,” she said, “and I love how much the city celebrates entertainment.”
