Hailey Bieber On Saddest, Hardest Moments In 2023
Hailey Beiber opened up about her recent struggles on social media.
The 26-year-old model and founder of Rhode Beauty opened up to her 49.5 million Instagram followers this Wednesday by sharing a video of an animated cat dancing.
Hailey noted that the cat was a synonym for how her mental state had been for the past one and a half months.
In the next post, Hailey wrote, “I like to make jokes about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m having a hard time. But truthfully since 2023 started I have had some of the saddest, hardest moments I’ve ever had in my adult life and my mind and emotions have been fragile to say the least..”
She further continued, saying that she was aware that she was not the only one feeling the way she was feeling now and that many people go through the same feelings.
She wanted her fans to know that they were not alone, and she encouraged them to support each other.
In conclusion, Beiber wrote, “That being said, let’s keep being there for one another. Let’s be there for loved ones and friends and family and strangers. Let’s just be there for people.. Let’s keep showing up for each other even when it’s hard. We’re better together.”
Although Hailey did not specify what was the “saddest, hardest moment” of her adult life, it is safe to assume she is referring to the social media drama between herself and her husband’s ex, Selena Gomez.
Last month, Hailey reached out to Selena, as she had been receiving death threats and hateful negativity. Selena defended Hailey in herbpost saying, “This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”
There had always been feud rumors between Hailey and Selena, but the drama garnered fuel when a TikTok video of Hailey and her bestie Kendall Jenner lip-syncing to “And I’m not saying she deserved it, but I’m saying God’s timing is always right” hit the internet.
Fans assumed the models were throwing shade at Gomez, whose swimsuit photos had gotten body-shaming comments.
Hailey took down the post and denied any connection or reference to the video with the “Kill ’em with kindness” singer.
The drama died down eventually. However, later in February, just a few weeks later, a new drama ensued. This one involved Gomez, Beiber, and Kylie Jenner.
Gomez had posted a video on Instagram where she jokingly told fans how she had over-laminated her eyebrows. After some time, Hailey and Kylie posted about their perfectly laminated eyebrows.
Fans were quick to conclude that the duo was making fun of Gomez and throwing indirect shade. Hailey and Kylie both denied any such intention, and Jenner and Gomez were quick to stop the speculation.
Jenner wrote on TikTok, “This is reaching. no shade towards selena ever and i didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.”
Gomez commented on the post, saying she agreed and that all the drama was unnecessary.
