Harper Beckham Says Mom Victoria Can’t Even Make Cereal
The famous and only daughter of power couple David and Victoria Beckham let on a little secret while bonding with her father in their kitchen. The 12-year-old fashionista and her 48-year-old ex-footballer dad, David, spent the day baking chocolate chip cookies and an apple crumble while the youngster exposed her mom’s lack of cooking skills.
Last Sunday, Victoria took to her Instagram Story to share how her husband and daughter spent the day in the kitchen. She captioned it with, “It’s intense in the Beckham kitchen today!!” She then shared that David expertly mixed the crumble mixture and peeled the apples that would go with it. Victoria commended her husband as he worked and said he was a good househusband.
The former Spice Girl then showed a cake her husband finished the day before and gushed, “He really is a whizz in the kitchen.” The camera then panned to her daughter who was stirring the batter and laying the cookie dough down on a baking sheet.
Praising her daughter, Victoria told Harper how impressive her cookies were and asked, “Did you learn to cook from Daddy? Or was it Mummy?”
Victoria definitely didn’t see her daughter’s reply coming. The girl replied, “Mummy, you can’t even make cereal…”
The fashion designer quickly replied, “Oh wow!” In an attempt to make her mother feel better, Harper was heard saying, “Well, you can make chicken Kyiv but that comes from M&S.”
The adorable banter between mother and daughter was so raw and funny that Victoria took everything in stride and acknowledged, “I get it, Harper…I can’t cook.”
The video Victoria shared gave fans a glimpse of their beautiful and highly lavish kitchen in their Cotswolds residence. Based on the background, they have a massive kitchen bar and stylish blue cabinets.
Their kitchen is also home to impressive appliances, including a substantial double freezer and a double Aga oven built into their dark blue cupboards. Their kitchen is any cook’s dream because a wood-burning pizza oven was sighted in the corner with wooden boards displayed on the exposed brick wall.
Harper’s skills in the kitchen can surely give her older brother Brooklyn a run for his money. At a young age, the family’s only daughter is showing promising culinary skills.
Recall that Brooklyn has been attempting to break into the food industry as a chef. The 24-year-old has so far achieved some success despite heavy criticism and backlash from the public.
After recently marrying heiress Nicola Peltz in April 2022, Brooklyn has been slammed on almost all aspects of his cooking. He has had to deal with allegations of nepotism while his cooking skills and recipes have been questioned.
Despite these setbacks, the future looks bright for the oldest Beckham child as he made money off his latest cooking video through a strategic brand partnership. Brooklyn revealed that his last video, where he used avocado oil to make a cake, was in partnership with Chosen Foods.
