“I Fell In Love”: Sienna Miller On Falling In Love Quickly With Oli Green

Sienna Miller is opening up about the unexpected and joyful turn her life took when she met her boyfriend, Oli Green. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar published on June 11, Sienna, 42, shared how their romance blossomed after meeting at a Halloween party.

Reflecting on her relationship, Sienna revealed that she did not expect things to get serious between her and Oli.

“And then quite quickly, I fell in love. I wasn’t like, ‘I’m gonna get a younger boyfriend.’ It was more, ‘F–k! Why are you young? That’s so annoying,'” she stated.

Despite the age difference, with Oli being 27, Sienna praises him for his maturity. “There is a difference in the way that generation of men respect women. It’s specific to him; he is very wise and well-adjusted, but I do believe it’s also that generation. They have grown up with a slightly more level playing field,” she explained. 

“I see it in his female friends as well as in the men,” she added.

Sienna also touched on how her younger partner has influenced her own perspectives. She explained how she has learned “from people who are younger about how clear they are in their boundaries, having that self-assuredness and self-advocacy, having ‘no’ in the repertoire in a way that we just weren’t encouraged to have.” 

In Vogue’s December cover story, she echoed similar sentiments about Oli, saying, “I would imagine it would be complicated for anyone to get their head around, but there’s been nothing but love and joy.”

The couple, who made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March 2022, welcomed their first child together earlier this year. Sienna is also a mom to 11-year-old daughter Marlowe, whom she shares with ex Tom Sturridge.

Speaking about having a baby later in life, she humorously noted in her December interview with Vogue, “I’d love to get to a point where I didn’t feel the need to make a joke of my being older and having a baby. To show I’m in on the joke.”
