Inside Chicago’s Hello Kitty 4th Birthday Party Celebration
Kim Kardashian, supported by her family, threw a lavish Hello Kitty party last Sunday to celebrate her daughter Chicago’s fifth birthday.
The 42-year-old reality star took to her social media handle to share the extravagant party they held at her all-beige, $60 million Hidden Hills Mansion. Her home was transformed to match the Hello Kitty theme, with pink walls and carpets just for the birthday party.
Chicago is one of her children with ex-husband Kanye West, who recently “married” one of his Yeezy employees in a private ceremony. The non-legal binding happened just two months after his and Kim’s highly publicized divorce.
Chicago’s rapper father was nowhere to be seen on her birthday. He wasn’t visible in any of Kim’s family’s social media videos or posts, either.
Kim’s home was fully transformed into a Hello Kitty wonderland, and aside from many Hello Kitty decorations, pink balloons adorned all the rooms.
Based on Kim’s TikTok post, Chicago’s birthday party included a ramen bar, a milkshake station, and a “Chicago’s Waffle Pops” set-up. Kim wore an “I love Chicago” shirt for her daughter’s birthday. She also had a tour of the different birthday activities set up for Chichi.
Every detail of the party was meticulously themed Hello Kitty—even the slices of bread had a Hello Kitty design. The toasts had pink filling in them to match the party’s pink and white color scheme. The other foods and refreshments were also designed with Hello Kitty.
A giant ball pit was set up in one of the house’s large rooms. The pink ball pit had two slides so the children could enjoy going up and down while chilling and dancing to the DJ mixing the tunes for the party.
Kim ensured that the children had plenty to do during the part with several activities and stations for the little ones to enjoy. These included a face painting station, some slime-making, and kitty stuffing.
Kim’s TikTok video was captioned, “Happy birthday, ChiChi,” plus a red heart emoji. At the video’s start, Kim said, “Happy Birthday Chicago! I love you so much. I can’t believe you’re five years old.”
At the end of the video, friends and family can be seen, including Kris Jenner, Kim’s momager and Chi’s grandmother, the rest of Kim’s children, and sister Khloé, all belting out a “Happy Birthday” to the beaming birthday girl.
Khloé was able to record the milestone of Chicago blowing out her candles, while Kim held on to her daughter’s hair to keep it out of the way and prevent it from getting icing on it. In the clip, Khloe was heard telling her four-year-old daughter to say, “True, say yay!”
Khloé abruptly stopped recording when her daughter started crying and calling for her.
Last Sunday, Kim posted an Instagram slideshow dedicated to Chicago, whom she called her twin. The Skims’ CEO shared four snaps of herself with her daughter. She captioned the slideshow to show her pride in being ChiChi’s mother.
