James Corden Returns For A US Visit After Quitting Hollywood And Relocating To The UK

James Corden was spotted in Malibu last Thursday after having lunch at SoHo House. This is James’s first return to the US since he left his Hollywood career and decided to relocate with his family to his native UK home.

James kept it casual for his outing, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and white sneakers. He appeared to be in good spirits, as he seemed to be waiting for someone at the beachside social club.

Recall that last month, the 44-year-old comedian bid goodbye to his talk show, The Late Late Show. He then moved back to the UK with Julia, his wife, and their children, 11-year-old Max, 8-year-old Carey, and 4-year-old Charlotte. The move was prompted by James wanting to be there for his children more and to settle in the UK, close to family, finally.

Many speculate that his quick stateside visit is associated with his $17.1 million Brentwood property being sold. According to The Messenger, James’ and his family’s home first entered the market with a selling price of $22 million last February after James and his wife made it available in October 2022 for qualified buyers.

The couple, who married in 2012, originally bought their New-England-style home for $9.7 million in 2017.

Elsewhere, following James being sighted in Malibu, he also made a surprise appearance on the third season premiere of The Kardashians last Thursday. The talk show host was in attendance during Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila event and was snapped having a conversation with Khloé Kardashian.

While talking to the 38-year-old Khloé, James got confirmation of her son’s name. Recall that this year, Khloé and ex-partner Tristan Thompson welcomed their second child, a son, via surrogate. Since the child’s arrival, talking about the little boy’s possible name has been a hot topic on social media.

James reportedly asked Khloé what was new in her life, to which the reality star and The Good American founder answered, “Not much…Oh, I had a baby.”

The singer and comedian then suggested that she name her son “False” after Khloé and Tristan’s daughter’s name, “True”.

At this point, Khloé confirmed her son’s name and told James, “His name is Tatum. So, Tatum and True.” The influencer also admitted how hard naming a human being is.

James is a good friend of the Kardashian-Jenner family and had a hand in reviving their reality show after Keeping Up With The Kardashians ended. The actor is one of the executive producers of their show via his company, Fulwell 73 Productions.

An insider once mentioned how Kim Kardashian saw how James seemed to turn everything he touched into gold and knew immediately that they needed someone like him for new ideas, so she reached out to James.

And true to James’ close relationship with the family, he even appeared in some reality show episodes where he once gave Khloé some advice on handling the negativity and trolls online.
