Jamie Foxx Slammed with Sexual Assault Lawsuit for Rubbing a Woman’s Breast While Intoxicated in 2015
Jamie Foxx has been reportedly sued for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman sometime in 2015. In the lawsuit, the Oscar winner was accused of putting his hands on a female’s waist and then putting it under her top.
Identified as “Jane Doe,” the plaintiff, based on the document, stated that the 55-year-old actor started rubbing her breasts after he pulled her to the back area of a rooftop. The said rooftop was at Catch NYC & Roof.
According to the complainant, the incident happened around one o’clock in the morning. It is revealed further into the lawsuit that “the plaintiff’s friend asked Foxx if he’d take a photo with her and the plaintiff.” To this, the American actor responded, “Sure, baby, anything for you.”
Based on the plaintiff’s recollection of that morning, Jamie appeared intoxicated, and he even told her that she looked like Gabrielle Union. The plaintiff also revealed that Jamie commented on her physique and described it as a supermodel body. He also said that she smelled good.
After being physical, the plaintiff alleged that she tried to get away from the actor. This was when she noticed that other people – specifically the security guard – saw what happened, but they kept quiet and walked away.
With no one to bother them, the plaintiff revealed that things escalated quickly. Before she knew it, Jamie already had his hands inside her pants with his fingers on and in her private parts. The plaintiff continued that Jamie stopped only when her friend rushed over.
Jane Doe claimed that she sought medical treatment. She also suffered pain and emotional distress as a direct result of the “sexual assault, abuse, assault, and battery.”
The complainant is suing the actor and the Catch NYC & Roof employees for irreparable damages and compensation. The legal action was filed under New York’s Adult Survivor’s Act, which opens a 1-year revival window where victims of sexual abuse can file a case. This would otherwise be void by the statute of limitations.
During the alleged time of the sexual abuse, Jamie was in a relationship with Hollywood actress Katie Holmes. This is not the first time Jamie faced SA allegations. In 2002, he was also accused by a woman of inappropriate sexual conduct after he apparently slapped her with his p*nis.
In 2018, the Las Vegas police confirmed to news publication People that a female victim came to them and reported a sexual assault that happened in the area in 2002. Jamie was the suspect in the incident.
Back then, Jamie’s legal representative denied all the claims and released the official statement, “Jamie Foxx emphatically denies that this incident never occurred, and he will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him. The first time Mr. Foxx became aware of this woman’s absurd claims about an incident that supposedly occurred sixteen years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives today about this story.”
His lawyer further added, “The alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement in 2002 or at any other time in the last sixteen years until last Friday because the incident never happened. We consider it extraordinarily reckless for any publication to publish this bogus story.”
Jamie and his representatives have not released any comment about this new sexual assault case yet.
