Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Check Out A Different Home Despite Being In Contract For A $34.5 Million Home In The Pacific Palisades
On Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, were spotted checking out another Pacific Palisade home despite claims of being “in escrow” on a $34.5 million home in that area.
MailOnline reported that the new couple arrived at the new home in Ben’s Mercedes-Benz EQS-Class, as they looked through the properties in tow with two real estate agents. The report is coming a few weeks after TMZ reported that they’re “in escrow” for another million-dollar mansion in that same locality.
Both stars might not have found the perfect home for their “blended family.” They’ve been house hunting for almost two years while renting Australian billionaire James Packer’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion.
A few weeks ago, while touring the $34.5 million home in Pacific Palisades, they were spotted in the company of Jlo’s 15-year-old twins, Emme and Maximilian, and Ben’s 14-year-old daughter, Seraphina. During the tour, the Deep Water actor used his professional camera to capture memories with their children as they skated around the property.
However, their recent property search could mean that the Marry Me actress and Oscar-winning actor are not satisfied with the “Hamptons-style traditional” home equipped with seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, a screening room, a gym, a pool, a wine cellar, a health spa, a jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen, and a “sun-filled dining room with fireplace.”
Ben Affleck and Jlo had separate homes before rekindling their romance in April 2021. Before then, the Maid in Manhattan star lived in Miami, Florida, with her twins. Ben, on the other hand, lived in his $19.2 million Pacific Palisades home (now sold off for $29.95 million), which he bought in 2018 after his split with ex-wife Jennifer Garner in 2015.
Jlo, on the other hand, owns a $28 million Bel-Air home, currently listed for $42.5 million. Before their decision to buy another home for their family of seven, the plan was to upgrade Jlo’s home as their family home. But, it seems both stars are in quest for a home that matches their fairytale romance that has been resurrected almost two decades after they first broke off their engagement.
To seal their love this time, the couple got matching tattoos to mark valentines day. The Boy Next Door actress’ tattoo has an infinity sign with an arrow cutting through with “Jennifer” and “Ben” in cursive. Ben’s tattoo shows two arrows crossing each other with the initials “J” and “B” engraved on both ends.
