Jesse Palmer Delights In Fatherhood Journey: “I’ve Seen A Whole New Side Of Myself”
Jesse Palmer, renowned as the host of The Bachelor, recently shared his joy of fatherhood during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Jesse, 45, proudly spoke about his newfound role as “a girl dad” to his baby daughter, Ella Reine, born to him and his wife, Emely Fardo, 34, in January.
“Every day’s a new day and I’m learning so much more. She has been so chill, I’ve seen a whole new side I think of myself,” he shared, beaming with pride about his daughter.
Expressing gratitude towards his wife, Jesse emphasized the transformative impact of parenthood on their relationship. “I’ve gotta say my wife Emely has been amazing. I didn’t think I could love my wife any more than I do and having this baby has changed everything, it’s gone to an entirely new level,” he remarked.
With a sense of awe, Jesse showcased a family photo, underscoring the profound joy his daughter brings. “This is my world right here, it’s unbelievable. It’s a blessing,” he exclaimed.
Discussing Ella’s size, Jesse humorously revealed, “She was close to 9 Lbs, which in my family is not uncommon. I was almost 12 Lbs, which is big.”
He added a quirky family anecdote about a great uncle who was a record-breaking 17 Lbs at birth, setting a lighthearted tone to the conversation.
Reflecting on Ella’s growth, the television personality described her as “tall,” “beautiful,” and “changing every day,” encapsulating the wonder of parenthood.
Jesse’s journey into fatherhood began with a heartfelt Instagram announcement in January, marking a momentous occasion in their lives.
“Our worlds have been forever changed… She’s finally here… ELLA REINE PALMER 💕 Our hearts are overflowing with love and gratitude…” he wrote.
In August prior to Ella’s arrival, he and Emely joyfully shared their anticipation of welcoming a daughter, expressing excitement about the adventures and life lessons they would share with her.
“I’m so excited to share life with our daughter, take her on fun adventures and share with her the lessons this life has taught us,” she shared, while he said, “I know our daughter is going to walk all over me — she already has me wrapped around her finger! I’m a little nervous since I never grew up with girls in the house.”
Their journey as a couple has been filled with love and commitment, culminating in a quiet wedding ceremony in 2020 after the disruption of their original plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
