Jessica Alba And Cash Warren Call It Quits After 16 Years Of Marriage, Source Says
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are reportedly ending their 16-year marriage, but there’s no bad blood between them. The couple, who tied the knot in 2008 and share three children, are said to still be friends and focused on co-parenting.
On January 8, TMZ reported that the Fantastic Four actress and the film producer have separated and are preparing for divorce. While their reps have not commented on the situation, a source tells PEOPLE, adding that they’re “all about the kids” and seem to still have a good relationship.
Jessica, 43, and Cash, 45, share daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, along with their 7-year-old son Hayes. The couple has been spotted recently without their wedding rings, but they put on a united front earlier this month to celebrate Hayes’ birthday with a family trip to Universal Studios.
“They still look happy together,” the source says, adding, “Jess has mentioned over the years though that it’s hard to keep the spark.”
The couple first met in 2004 and celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in May 2024. At the time, Jessica shared a heartfelt Instagram post reflecting on their journey together. “There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family,” she wrote, adding, “Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another. Cheers to us, I love you.”
However, recent signs hinted at a shift in their relationship. Jessica shared a New Year’s Eve Instagram post celebrating “connection, growth, adventures, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy, and so much love” — but it noticeably didn’t include Cash.
In an interview with PEOPLE in June 2024, Jessica opened up about the challenges of balancing marriage and busy lives. She emphasized the importance of making time for each other, saying, “Anytime we ebb or flow, we just look around and it’s like, ‘Actually, at my worst I’m still better off with you.’”
Despite the end of their marriage, it seems Jessica and Cash are committed to remaining close for the sake of their family. “No matter what’s going on right now, it seems they will remain close,” the source said.
