Justin Bieber Rants About “Transactional Relationships”

Justin Bieber is speaking from the heart, and it’s not all pretty. The 31-year-old singer took to Instagram over the weekend to share a string of deeply personal thoughts, touching on love, faith, burnout, and the pressure to constantly “do more.”
In a series of raw black-and-white selfies and emotional captions posted on Sunday, June 8, Justin opened up about the struggle of feeling like love must be earned. “If I have to do something to be loved, that’s not love,” he wrote. The Grammy-winning star, who is also a new dad, added, “This is how I feel after people keep telling me there’s more work to do after I’ve given everything I have to give.”
In another post, he vented his frustration: “I listened to those fools who told me to work harder. And there’s no end to trying to earn your spot in this life because I tried. U have everything you need right now.”
Justin also took a spiritual turn, sharing his belief that life isn’t just about the grind. “We wanna make our life about work so bad,” he wrote. “But this life is about God. Loving us so we can love each other. Quit making your life about work [shaking my head].” He urged his followers to stop trying to “play God,” reminding them that true inspiration and effort should come from a higher place; not pressure from others.
Reflecting on his personal growth, he admitted, “People still keep making me think if I work hard on myself I’ll be better like them. But the harder I work on myself, the more I think about myself. I thought the point was to think about one another? The only thing that helps me think about others to let go, not try harder. Join me in letting go of not trying harder.”
Still, it’s not all heavy over in Bieber world. Just a day before the heartfelt posts, he shared a sweet snapshot of himself FaceTiming with his wife, Hailey. The caption? “That’s a man who LOVES his wife.”
Justin also recently posted cute photos of his 9-month-old son, Jack — including one where the baby sat happily on his dad’s head. “Gonna be a good summer 🫶🏼,” he wrote, signaling a season of joy and family time.
Hailey, for her part, has her own big news. Her skincare brand Rhode was just acquired by e.l.f. Beauty in a massive $1 billion deal. A source close to the model shared that she’s “incredibly excited” and proud of how far her company has come. “She can’t wait to take Rhode global,” they added.
