Kaley Cuoco Celebrates First Easter with Newborn Daughter and Husband
Kaley Cuoco is enjoying her first Easter with her newborn daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, and her husband, Tom Pelphrey. The actress, who recently welcomed her first child with Tom, shared the happy news on her Instagram story, along with two new family snaps.
In the first snap, Kaley was seen in a full-length white dress and a necklace, while Pelphrey was wearing a gray t-shirt, black sweats, and white sneakers, with their daughter in his arms. The actress was kissing the head of her newborn, with the caption “Happy Easter.”
In the second snap, Kaley was seen with her arm around her husband, who was still holding their child. On the child’s face was a big yawn. The couple looked ecstatic as they celebrated their first Easter with their expanded family.
Kaley announced the arrival of their daughter on Instagram on March 30, sharing several snaps of the newborn. “3-30-23 Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!” she wrote.
“We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle,” she continued.
The actress also expressed her gratitude towards the doctors, nurses, family, and friends who have helped them immensely over the last few days. She then tagged her husband Pelphrey in her post and added, “didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”
Kaley confirmed her relationship with Pelphrey in May 2022, and just five months later, she announced that they were expecting their first child. In a snap of Tom holding a piece of pink cake, she told her fans that she and her husband were expecting a baby girl.
The couple hit the red carpet together at the 2023 Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards, with Kaley also revealing that she had wrapped production on her Peacock series Based on a True Story.
In addition to their new bundle of joy, Kaley and Tom have also rescued a new dog, which the actress shared on her Instagram story. “Thank you @deityanimalresuce and an amazing foster @thisisdarragh for bringing this angel to us,” she wrote.
