Keanu Reeves Says Co-Star Lorenza Izzo’s Husband Was Watching While They Filmed Sex Scene In 2015 Erotic Thriller Knock Knock
Keanu Reeves has told the tale of a time when he had to film a sex scene with a co-star while her husband watched. According to the John Wick actor, he suffered an awkward moment on the set of the 2015 erotic psychological thriller Knock Knock, in which his character was seduced by two mysterious women, one of whom was played by Lorenza Izzo.
In one scene, Keanu gets into a threesome with Lorenza and the other woman, played by Ana De Armas. At the time, Lorenza’s then-husband Eli Roth was directing the film, so he was present while they acted out the scene. According to the star, it was briefly awkward, but he was able to play his role comfortably.
When Jimmy Kimmel asked him if the scenes were uncomfortable for him, his answer was no. While he admitted that the moment had a “weird” tint to it, he said he worked with Eli to ease any possible tension during filming.
“Eli created a great situation of trust and rehearsals, but eventually you have to get naked and simulate and do…” he said.
Keanu further said that he did not handle the situation in a way that would get Eli’s guard up. “I wasn’t that guy who was like, ‘Hey Eli your wife is hot”…you know like every day like, “I can’t wait for this sex scene Lorenza looks amazing today.’”
The Matrix star attributed the success of the awkward shoot to the support of Eli and the film’s producers.
While he spent some time talking about Knock Knock during his appearance on Jimmy’s show, the beloved actor has named John Wick as one of his favorite roles.
“‘It’s a fun character to be able to have that, you know, that John Wick kinda thing,” he said on Good Morning America last week. The film, whose fourth installation got released this month, has Keanu playing the role of a professional hitman who came out of retirement to enact revenge against the people who killed his puppy, which was of sentimental value to him. As sequels follow, the plot thickens, and in the fourth sequel, the assassin seeks revenge on the High Table and others who left him to die after placing a mouth-watering bounty for his murder in the prequel.
For him, his love for John Wick goes beyond his character in the movie as he says, “I mean, I think the film is really epic, and I love playing the role. I love the John Wick world.”
