Kelly Rowland Lauds Rising Star Blue Ivy Carter’s Talents On Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour
In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, 11-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of the iconic power couple Beyoncé and JAY-Z, has been capturing hearts as she graces the stage during her mother’s Renaissance World Tour. This young prodigy’s performances have garnered admiration, not just from fans but also from prominent figures like Kelly Rowland, a former member of Destiny’s Child.
Kelly Rowland, who knows a thing or two about commanding a stage, shared her amazement, stating, “I’m very proud. She works very freaking hard, period,” Rowland said, speaking to E! News.
She then attributed the young girl’s tenacity and gifts to her parents Beyonce and Jay Z, saying, “But how could she not, you know? She sees her mother in action and she sees her father in action and how they apply everything, hard work to everything that they do.”
Rowland’s praise comes as Blue Ivy has joined her music powerhouse mom on her Renaissance World Tour as a dancer, impressing many.
Blue Ivy first wowed the audience when she appeared onstage to perform alongside Beyoncé’s backup dancers, moving to the beats of My Power from the acclaimed 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift. Since then, the 11-year-old has been an exciting surprise in various tour locations, including London, Las Vegas, New York, and Atlanta.
It’s not only fellow artists who have been showering Blue Ivy with praise. Tina Knowles-Lawson, Beyoncé’s mother, took to Instagram to laud the young talent after her first appearance, which was very impressed fans commenting on her talents, courage, and growth
“The coolest most confident 11 year old I know!!!!” Tina exclaimed, expressing her admiration for her granddaughter’s fearlessness and skill.
Tina’s admiration didn’t stop there. In a heartfelt post, she went on to express her awe at Blue Ivy’s courage, highlighting the grandeur of the stage and the intricate choreography she effortlessly executed. “There were almost 70,000 people in that audience. She danced with professional dancers, grown folks, she did complicated choreography and moves that they rehearsed for months! She rehearsed and learned this in a little over a week. She was so smooth with it!” she marveled.
Grammy award winner and proud mother Beyoncé herself took to Instagram to share her feelings of pride towards her daughter. Alongside a photo and videos of Blue Ivy’s performance, she penned a touching message: “My beautiful first born 🙏🏾 I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”
