Khloe Kardashian Joins Ex Tristan Thompson Alongside Her Sister Kim, Mom Kris, And Rapper Drake At The NBA Star’s Mother’s Funeral In Toronto

Khloe Kardashian was spotted at the funeral service of ex Tristan Thompson’s mother’s funeral in Canada, Toronto on Saturday. 

On January 6, TMZ reported that Tristan Thompson rushed down to Toronto in a private jet after the sudden passing away of his mother, and Khloe Kardashian went with him. Tristan’s mom, Andrea, suffered a heart attack in her home on January 5 and passed on shortly afterward.

Although Khloe, 38, and Tristan, 31, split in June 2021, both parties have maintained a healthy friendship while co-parenting their two children, True, 4, and the baby boy they both welcomed last July through a surrogate.

The NBA star was surrounded by friends and family who were present at the funeral service, held at Last Days Pentecostal Ministries. Many were there to pay their respects and support the basketball player. Amongst them were Khloe, Kim, and her mother Kris. 

A source informed People on Saturday that the Kardashians all want to be there for Tristan. “He will always be family. It’s a devastating situation for him. They want to do everything they can to support him,” the source stated.

Also spotted was the Canadian rapper Drake, who was equally present at the funeral service and was seen in black slacks paired with a thick, black wool coat.

Around the time Tristan’s mother passed away, TMZ reported that she had suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital. However, sources note that doctors could not resuscitate her as she passed away. An insider responded to the news of her death, telling E! News, “This was unexpected.”

The source stated that Khloe “was incredibly close” to Tristan’s mother, Andrea. They added that it is just like Khloe and the Kardashian family to “come together and support their loved ones in their most difficult time of need.”

“Tristan is the father of Khloe’s kids, and she and her entire family will always be there for him,” the source added.

A day after the sad death of the basketball player’s mother, Kris Jenner penned a heartfelt condolence message to Tristan and his family, saying:

“I am so heartbroken by the sudden passing of Tristan’s mom, Andrea. My thoughts, prayers and all of my love are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn and Daniel. You were the most amazing, dedicated, devoted, and selfless mom, and such a loving, kind, and fabulous grandmother. What a blessing you were to your family!!! I will miss you Andrea. I will miss your bright spirit and amazing light. Thank you for always praying for us and lifting us up and encouraging us along the way. Rest in peace beautiful angel.”
