Kim Kardashian Embraces New Identity And Prioritizes Family Amid Divorce From Kanye West
Kim Kardashian recently opened up about her journey of self-discovery and resilience following her divorce from Kanye West. In an exclusive interview with Vogue Italia, she shared her thoughts on regaining her sense of self and overcoming the challenges that life has thrown her way.
Reflecting on her past, Kim acknowledged that her previous confidence was heavily influenced by her former partner’s opinion, causing her to lose sight of her own beliefs. However, she expressed a renewed commitment to doing what is right and embracing a fresh perspective. “I do feel like it’s a new me,” she confessed. “Now I’m at a time where I just want to do the right thing.”
Having become more self-assured, Kim emphasized the importance of maintaining strong relationships with her friends and family. She revealed that she now cherishes every moment and values her connections with her children, placing a higher priority on these meaningful bonds. “I want to appreciate everything and everyone around me, mind my own business, and value my relationships with my kids,” the mother of four explained. “I am grateful for all of it.”
Kim’s journey to self-discovery hasn’t been without its fair share of hardships. In her pursuit of understanding her resilience, she sought spiritual guidance to navigate through difficult situations. Recounting her experience, she shared, “I did have a reading with a medium not too long ago who said my soul had done so much soul work in past lives that the way I handle stress and pressure is now completely clear. That’s why I can handle so much.”
Despite occasional moments of stress during crises, the SKIMS founder remains a problem solver, adept at helping others during emergency situations. She has yet to let anything truly break her spirit.
Addressing her approach to public opinion, she recently discussed her ability to tune out the noise and remain guarded against rumors concerning her family. During a conversation with Hailey Bieber on the Who’s in my Bathroom? series on YouTube, she expressed her frustration at the way her sister Khloé Kardashian is often targeted. She said, “People want to believe what they want to believe, and you can’t change that. So it’s about finding your inner peace and like, you being okay with that… And it’s so frustrating, and people don’t ever want to take a second to be like, she’s human.”
While Kim strives to maintain inner peace, she admitted that there are moments when she chooses to respond to criticism on social media. “Every once in a while, I clap back if I’m just in the mood and I can’t handle it. I’m like, ‘Dude, you know, it didn’t go down like that. This is it.’ And I always have the facts,” she explained.
