Kim Kardashian Says She Stayed Calm After Being Cheated On
During her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on October 15, Kim Kardashian got candid about how she handled finding out she had been cheated on and her surprisingly calm reaction.
As the 44-year-old reality star and business mogul recalled, “I just kind of was like, ‘Tell me more.
She went on to explain that she learned about the betrayal long after it happened. The revelation, however, didn’t lead to a dramatic breakup or an explosive confrontation. “I was in a tough position. I didn’t. And I was in a tough position because I don’t think they were in a position to have shared that information. It wasn’t like a healthy place. And so I kind of didn’t know if I should take it seriously or not. I had to wait a time period to really assess and see what was happening.”
It is a mature response that even she admits her younger self wouldn’t have been capable of. “When you’re in your 20s and stuff, it’s like all out psycho war, like, take them down.”
She even admitted that back then, she wasn’t afraid to confront the “other woman.” “I’ll always call the person and go off,” she revealed, adding, “The psycho side of me would come out just to make the call, and then I’d be like, ‘Okay, that felt good.’”
Now, though, Kim says she doesn’t see the point in letting anger take over. “I think I’m just at a phase and at an — I hate to be like ‘at this age’ — but it’s like, what’s the point?” she said.
The SKIMS founder also made it clear that she is currently “single” and that her romantic life has been drama-free since her split from Kanye West.
This isn’t the first time Kim has opened up about being cheated on. Back in 2017, during an interview with Jennifer Lawrence on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she shared another painful memory. As she revealed, she was at her birthday dinner with her best friends while “he was flying in town to meet another girl on my birthday.”
