Kim Kardashian Spills On Kris Jenner’s “Frustrating” Grandma Style

Kim Kardashian is opening up about what it’s like when her mom, Kris Jenner, is in grandma mode. On a recent episode of What in the Winkler?!, Kim, 44, chatted with host Zoe Winkler, revealing the sweet – and sometimes “frustrating” – way Kris, 69, is as a grandmother to Kim’s kids: North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.

Kim shared that Kris is a dream grandma in many ways but has a particular quirk that makes Kim roll her eyes. “This is the one really frustrating thing that my mom does,” Kim explained, revealing that the momager is “super judgmental when it comes to snacks and candy.”

“Then her house has every candy, ice cream — it’s like a kid’s heaven,” he stated.

For Kris’s birthday, on November 5, Kim and her kids went over to celebrate. Kim recalled how her son Saint headed to the freezer and chose an ice cream over cake. Kris was quick to comment, Kim said, adding, “‘Look at him eating the ice cream.’”

“I’m just like, ‘You have it in your house and you’re judging me?’” Kim added.

Despite the treats and snacks, Kim appreciates how Kris brings a lot of joy to her kids. However, being a mom of four is no easy feat for Kim. A source close to her recently told PEOPLE that she’s handling the demands of motherhood mostly solo. Kim co-parents with her ex, Kanye West, 47, though Kanye isn’t around much these days. “She’s pretty much a single mom,” the source noted. “Although she has help, it’s still a lot for her to balance and coordinate everything.”

Kim’s life, according to the source, revolves around her kids’ schedules. She’s always on mom duty, working when they’re at school and focusing on family when they’re off. With so much on her plate, Kim isn’t even dating. Right now, it’s all about her work, her kids, and navigating the humor and quirks of Kris’s role as the doting, snack-filled grandma.
