Kit Harrington, Rose Leslie Are Set To Become Parents Again!
After being on-screen lovers and turning into an off-screen couple, Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie are ready to welcome baby number 2 soon!
The soon–to–be father of two revealed the news on Friday’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’. The actor also expressed that he is terrified of becoming a dad the second time and is more practical now about the responsibility. Especially after the birth of his first child, whose arrival was like, “walking on clouds or dancing through fields and daisies for nine months.”
The actor, however, didn’t divulge more information on the pregnancy or the due date. So fans can only anticipate and wait for the following announcement.
This will be the actor’s second child with his wife, Rose Leslie, whom he started seeing during the second season of Game Of Thrones. While rumors of their relationship were already circulating, the couple only confirmed the news at their first red-carpet outing in 2016. Two years later, the couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Kirkton of Rayne Church in Scotland.
In early 2021, the Game of Thrones alum couple welcomed a son whose name has not yet been revealed publicly. When asked how his first son is taking the news, the actor revealed that he is “about to get the shock of his life”. And that the idea of a brother or sister might still be too difficult for him to grasp.
The actor was also asked if the rumors about a spin-off series on his Game Of Thrones character Jon Snow were true. He swiftly replied, “I don’t know. Do you want to have it?”
He further explained that he would consider doing a spin-off if it would make him as popular as before. He also shared that he gets fewer requests for photos these days.
While news about a sequel series on his character Jon Snow being in early development came out last June, fans will have to wait longer for more updates.
Mr. Harrington last made his public appearance in December 2022 at the official Game Of Thrones convention in Los Angeles. At the convention, he had also divulged that his character’s fate was the greatest gift as well as the greatest curse.
Rose Leslie was last seen in the HBO show, The Time Traveler’s Wife. The couple was last spotted together at the Louis Vuitton Fall 2023 Menswear fashion show, where they stunned in coordinated blazers and loose trousers.
Kit Harrington was last seen in the movie Baby Ruby, a mystery-thriller on postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. The actor also appeared in Amazon’s Modern Love series.
While fans will be awaiting the arrival of baby number 2, they have plenty to be busy with in the meantime. They may anticipate Harrington’s role as Frankenstein in a Mary Shelley Biopic or his lead role in the upcoming action thriller Blood for Dust directed by Rod Blackburst.
