Kourtney Kardashian Barker On Blending Families With Travis: “A Lot Of Adjusting”
Kourtney Kardashian Barker is making room for love — literally. On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, she revealed that she’s completely renovating her home to fit her newly blended family with husband Travis Barker. With seven kids between them, the couple is working to create a space where everyone feels at home.
“My goal in renovating my house and all the changes we’re making is so that we can all fit,” she explained in a confessional. “Me and my kids, my husband and three bonus kids, and have it feel like a new space that we’re all moving back into together and that feels like just new energy and new vibes.”
Kourtney, who shares Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick, now lives with Travis and their 15-month-old son Rocky. Travis also has three children — Landon, 21, Alabama, 19, and stepdaughter Atiana, 25. With so many under one roof, making adjustments has been necessary.
Walking her sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner through the home, Kourtney explained that she’s been staying at Travis’ house since Rocky was born in November 2023. “I feel like blending, in the beginning, is a lot of adjusting for each person,” she admitted. “Us in their space and then us being out of our space and into a new space. But it’s really good, and I do want to get this going.”
Kourtney has lived in her house for a decade, while Travis’ kids have grown up in their own home. “It’s new, all living together in one house, which is nice. It is change but I think we’re at a really amazing place with it,” she said.
Making sure all the kids feel at home is her top priority. “I really want to get it to where our family can enjoy our house. I think all the kids will kind of always have a room at both houses. I’m definitely making space for everyone,” she added.
A producer jokingly compared her to Kris Jenner, always surrounded by her children. Kourtney didn’t mind. “Which I would love, if Penelope wanted that with me or any of the kids,” she laughed. “I would be like, ‘Yes!’ I want them in my eyesight.”
